The new kid

Heart beats..

~ROSE~
I heard every word.
Was all I could say. Well think.

Everything is empty, just full of blackness is what I saw until this bright light shone so luminously, I was drawn to it even more like it was giving the life back to me.. but the light at the end of the space was getting dimmer, far away like it was closing.

I ran as fast as I could but it was like an endless chase for the light. I slowly couldn't feel the energy that was drawing me in. Regardless if I didn't have energy, I still tried, I forced my self as my body got weaker by the minute.

I was on my last heart beat. . .

Until in that moment I felt tingles that gave me so much life within me. The light was getting bigger and bigger. I don't know where this goes ... but it feels right. I reached out for the light as it could be held within my palms. I held it for at least a second until an instant rush of light burst out filling the space I was in. From then on something happened.

~ALEX~
I was about to leave the room as everything was silent, gloom was in the atmosphere . I gave her one more look as I couldn't bare the pain, I could of saved her , I could of done something! If it wasn't for Calvin or, or ..... i don't know. But now I will always live with the pain of Rose gone.

After a few seconds ..
I finally let go of the room door, hearing my own footsteps in slow motion and the bright lights hurting my eyes because of the irritation from the crying.

But something ... made me stop me from going even further away.

It was the sound that was beeping, constantly in my mind. Or was it ?

I admittedly turned back heading for Roses room. The beeping got even clearer. IT WASN'T IN MY HEAD .... I ran to the door as I fell to my knees outside the door watching the heart monitor. I could feel my own heart pound faster and faster by every step I took closer to her.

I couldn't believe what I was seeing....her heart rate was up again. Her body was breathing normal again. I just stood back up as tears were coming out of my eyes in happiness.

"Alex?..." She spoke with her angelic tone. It was like a miracle that had just happened.

"ROSE ! Oh my god !!!!! Your ALIVE !!!" I automatically held her so close as she was clueless of her surroundings.

"Okay Alex you need to-.... oh .. OH my god ! I will get the doctor !" The nurse dropped her clip board and ran to get him.

She held my hands tightly as I squeezed hers softly.

"I thought I lost you ...." My eyes were watery.

"But I'm here ... and I will never leave you"
I held her even closer.

After that her whole family came in shock.

"How could this happen ?"

"A miracle... I think hope from Alex gave her some kind of shock" The doctor said as the parents hugged me then Rose.

"Thank you so much. You can visit anytime " they wiped their tears away.

"I just love her so much that I always want to be with her" I smiled as Rose began to tear up.

"She will stay for another hour for some check ups and she will be ready to go home after that" The nurse said happily. As we all smiled.

"Your going home Rose" I kissed her cheek, as I watched her fall back tiredly sleeping like a beautiful angle.
