Love is when we care for each other even if we are angry with each other...

Third POV.
Arjun stormed forward, Anaya nestled in his arms like something precious he'd almost lost. His grip was tight, protective—as if he could shield her from the world's cruelty by sheer will.
But Krish blocked his path.
"Stop there, Arjun," Krish said, voice calm but firm. "Listen, I understand you care about Anaya... but she's injured, and the media's swarming outside. They've already spun this into a royal scandal. Don't add fuel to this fire."
Arjun's jaw tightened. His steps slowed.
Krish continued, trying to reason with the man who looked ready to burn the world. "Already it's a mess. Don't create a new one. Dad's furious—you coming here didn't go unnoticed. He's called me twice. Let me handle this. I'll take Anaya."
Arjun froze.
His father.
He had forgotten about that part of the equation—the one man whose presence always came like a cold, iron chain clamped to his throat. For a flicker of a second, the dark fury in his eyes dimmed. With visible hesitation, Arjun gently lowered Anaya to the ground.
But the moment her feet touched the floor, she swayed.
"Ah..." she winced, her fingers flying to her temples. Pain shot through her head like lightning, her knees buckled.
Before anyone else could blink, Arjun was back beside her—his arms locking around her waist, steadying her. His touch was urgent, possessive.
"Careful," he muttered, his voice dropping to that low, dark rasp that could command storms.
He helped her sit on the nearby bench, his hand pressing gently against her back. He took the soft stole from her shoulders, adjusting it to make sure she wasn't cold, brushing her hair out of her face. His every movement screamed: She's mine to protect.
"It's fine," he whispered close to her ear, voice softer now, almost tender. "I'm here..."
She didn't reply—but leaned slightly into his side. It was enough.
Then his phone buzzed.
His father.
Of course.
His expression darkened. He looked down at her, unwilling to let go but knowing he had to.
"I'll be back in two minutes. Don't move. Just... stay right here, okay?" His tone was low, commanding—but only Anaya could hear the undercurrent of concern.
She gave him a small nod, blinking slowly. He brushed his fingers across her cheek before stepping away, stalking toward the corridor to answer the call.
Krish turned to a police officer, trying to coordinate the official statement. A few nurses were seen explaining to the press that the protest had been cleared and medical services resumed. But nothing—none of it—mattered to Anaya.
Because her vision was swimming again. The noise, the tension, the flashing cameras from earlier... all of it blurred around her. She sat quietly on the bench, eyes scanning the corridor. Her gaze drifted toward the dark silhouette of Arjun at the far end—back rigid, his voice low, intense, pacing like a caged predator.
Even when he was away... her eyes kept finding him.
The man who held her like she was something fragile... something his very soul refused to lose again.
