Third POV.

Their journey came to a halt as the majestic gates of the Rajvansh Palace loomed before them — grand, towering, intimidating, the very symbol of the legacy Arjun belonged to.

Arjun's jaw clenched as he glanced sideways.

There she was.

Tucked into his side, his innocent, complicated, utterly infuriating wife — asleep, oblivious to the storm churning inside him.

His possessiveness flared again.

He didn't want this journey to end. Not now. Not yet.

He leaned closer, his lips brushing the shell of her ear, voice low — dangerously soft.

"Hey... wake up. We're here."

Anaya stirred, her eyes fluttering open like delicate petals. Arjun's breath hitched. Every time he looked into her eyes, it felt like she could see straight into the depths of his soul — the good, the bad... and the broken.

She smiled for a fleeting moment.

But then — as if a shadow fell over her heart — the smile died. She remembered his coldness from that morning.

She immediately shifted away, realizing she was practically clinging to him like a lifeline. She sat straight, putting a respectable — and emotionally deafening — distance between them.

Arjun felt the ice stab through his chest.

You're pulling away from me... again? After last night?

He was about to snap when the door opened on his side and Ron, the loyal bodyguard, announced with a nod:

"Sir... family is waiting inside."

Arjun turned to her — eyes hard, jaw clenched, a storm behind the emeralds — and gave her a warning look.

She blinked, confused.

What now? What did I do?
Ugh... he's so bipolar!

The driver opened her door. She stepped out with a huff, her eyes throwing silent daggers at the man she now mentally labeled as Rajvansh the Raging Bull.

She giggled under her breath at the name.

Arjun, hearing her barely hidden amusement, turned with narrowed eyes.

She cleared her throat innocently.

"Shall we move, Mr. Rajvansh?" she said, not even sparing him a glance.

Back to Mr. Rajvansh, are we? he thought, eyes darkening. After I held you like that, after I claimed you as mine — and you want to go formal again?

She didn't wait for his reply and walked ahead.

She was testing his patience now — and that was a dangerous game to play.

Sampoorna waited inside with heavy anticipation. She hadn't slept for two nights, heart aching for her children. Arjun had refused to answer any of her calls.

When Anaya saw her, she broke into a wide smile and rushed into her embrace.

"Maa... I missed you so much! Where's Aashi? Vedika bhabhi? Everyone?"
