Third POV.

She came out of his embrace—slowly, softly—much to his dismay. He let her go, but not before his fingers brushed against hers like a whisper, reluctant to part. She turned around with a bright smile that lit up her entire face.

"So, Mr. Rajvansh... would you like to continue what was left before? Would you like to befriend me again?" Her tone was playful, but her eyes held something deeper—a fragile thread of hope.

He chuckled, the kind that comes from somewhere nostalgic. The memory of London—those rainy mornings, library benches, late-night talks, and stolen glances—rushed over him like a wave. She had taught him that life wasn't a battlefield to conquer... but a journey to walk, side by side.

"Don't you think we've crossed that phase way before, Mrs. Rajvansh?" He raised his hand and pointed to the silver ring on his finger. "We're husband and wife now."

She blinked, stunned. He wears it? All the time?
A thousand thoughts tangled in her head, but all that came out was:
"You wear this ring all the time...?"

Her voice was breathless. His expression softened.

"Of course I do. Why wouldn't I?" His eyes gleamed. "After all, I'm the husband of a clumsy yet innocent girl... aren't I, Mrs. Rajvansh?"

She looked down shyly, blushing, the warmth of his words blooming like fireworks in her stomach.

"And besides..." He leaned in, "I don't want other girls around me. They make my wife jealous."

"I'm not jealous!" she retorted instantly, frowning adorably. "I'm not the clingy type. I'm an open-minded woman. Besides, I trust you... but you better wear that ring always."

Arjun's eyes flared. Her words struck him hard. She had acknowledged their bond. Not as a deal. Not as a forced union. But something real. Something she now owned. His wife wasn't running from their truth anymore.

"You're jealous," he teased, inching closer, voice low and thick. "Mrs. Rajvansh... I like this version of you."

"Wha—No! I was just being rational... I mean, as a wife, I should at least warn you, you're a married man, and you have a reputation to uphold, and—"

He was smirking shamelessly.

"Arjun!" she huffed. "Stop laughing. Ugh, you're impossible!"

He raised his hands in surrender as they both broke into laughter. But then, his voice turned sincere. "If my wife wants me to stay away from every woman on Earth, so be it. This ring stays on. Forever."

She melted again. But tried not to show it.

Then he added softly, "The same way I want you to wear that thread in your neck and that red sindoor on your forehead... because you're mine."

Her heart skipped.

Soon after, they were home—and hungry. She dashed into the kitchen but found nothing. Disappointed, she came out pouting. Arjun raised a brow. "I was thinking... a date."

A date?

Her jaw dropped. Arjun Singh Rajvansh, the arrogant, enigmatic Yuvraj... asking her out?
