Third POV.
His kiss held a promise. A silent vow that he was letting her see this side—soft, gentle, and devastatingly caring. This side of Arjun Rajvansh existed for only one person in this world.
Her.
Anaya was losing herself in him... this overwhelming warmth, this deep pull—she had never felt anything like it. His lips molded with hers perfectly, syncing like they were always meant to find each other. He was taking his sweet, sinful time ravishing her trembling lips. She was inexperienced, a stranger to this kind of intimacy... and he was honored to be her first.
His hand slid across her bare back, making her gasp. The instant her mouth parted, he took the chance, plunging into her with a hungry, devouring kiss. Their tongues met—fighting, dancing, melting. A soft moan escaped her lips, igniting something wild inside Arjun.
She clutched his shirt tightly, her arms wrapping around his neck on instinct, her fingers tangling in his hair. Arjun groaned lowly at her response. Her innocence, her submission—it was driving him insane.
When she pulled his hair slightly, signaling her breathlessness, he reluctantly let her go with a final tug on her lower lip.
Anaya collapsed into his chest, panting softly. Her head rested against his thudding heart while his arms locked tightly around her—as if afraid she'd vanish.
She finally looked up and caught his eyes.
They burned with desire.
But beyond that, something unspoken... something rare.
She quickly looked away, flushed with embarrassment.
Arjun chuckled.
"Shy now... are we, Mrs. Rajvansh?" his voice was teasing, yet tender.
He felt alive. His heart was full. That kiss, her acceptance—it changed everything.
"Now... I hope you got the answer that this is not just friendship," he murmured, tucking her hair behind her ear. "We've crossed that phase, Anaya. You're my wife. Mine. And damn it, if you think I just want friendship, you're wrong. I want everything. I want you. Let's give this relationship a real chance."
His words were like velvet, soft... pleading. But his masculine aura exuded power and possession. She could smell his addictive cologne... it was intoxicating.
Anaya's mind was spinning. His confession left her stunned.
He wanted them to be husband and wife in every way.
Yes, she had thought about it. Slowly, unknowingly, she'd started falling into this new life... into him.
But this was a huge step.
And what if it all came crashing down? What if this was a moment of passion and nothing more?
But deep down, she knew—he wasn't lying. He had always been there. For her. Against his brother, against his father. For her career. For her safety.
He always stood with her.
She finally looked into his intense eyes and gave the smallest nod.
"Please never break my trust, Arjun," her voice cracked. "That would be the last thread holding us together. If you break it... I won't ask why. I'll walk away and never look back. Promise me... you'll be loyal in this relationship."
