Chapter 8- Starbucks, Practice and more Starbucks

Chapter 8

I read and re-read the email over and over again. I was on Twinkles! Allie was crying because she made shooting stars her dream team since twinkles. I was reading the email over and over looking at all the girls on twinkles. I saw some familiar names like, Gianna Antico, Lauren Preston*, Bella Matrone*, and some new ones like, Kassidy Longston, Sienna Desu and London West. I wonder what the asterisk means. But I had formal practice on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. While Allie had Formal practice on Mondays, Wednesday's and Fridays. We also got a form for all the practice wear we need for Practice it was the same as last year.
We start practice on Tuesday next week.

As I walk into the gym an hour early I spot Gianna and she spots me. She motions me over to where she was sitting staring at the other floor where the Suns are training. "You see that." She asks while pointing to a girl in black and gold World Cup practice wear. "Yeah." I reply "I think she's on twinkles." Gianna states "oh no!" I exclaim. I remember that Jade has a little sister called Sienna. She must be Sienna Desu. I feel as though Jade is out to get me after ruining her chances of getting on shooting stars. This Sienna girl is trouble. "Gianna do you feel like Starbucks?" I ask unexpectedly "why did you ask Andrea? Of course I want Starbucks!" She exclaims. "Well let's ask my mum." I reply before walking over to mum and her saying" what do you want from Starbucks?" "Can I please have a tall vanilla bean cremme frappacino." I asked "and can I please have a tall double chocolate chip cremme frappacino." Gianna asked before mum said "I'll be back." Gianna and I giggled and high fived before running around the mat closest to us do tumbling and jumps. We mucked around making up a tumbling routine until we flopped down on the mat just before mum walked in carrying two frapacinos and a lemon iced tea. "You two look tired!" She exclaims before handing us our frapacinos and helps us up as we take a big sip of the goodness that the cup holds. Gianna and I just laugh at each other knowing that where both about to mmmmmm in deliciousness of the drink. We sit in the 'shark tank' as Coach Chrissy and Coach Dana call it, drinking as the others turn up. All the vetrans come and join us while all the new girls sit in a circle on the mat. Coach Dana and Coach Chrissy come in and call "girls on the mat where the others are sitting." We all slowly get up and walk into the gym and sit on the mat. Coach Chrissy and Coach Dana make a grand entrance. We all start laughing as they both enter in there shooting stars uniforms. We all have a laugh and a joke about it before we get to work. We learn the opening of the routine and our stunt groups before we do conditioning and tumbling by then practice is over. Gianna and I run straight for the cupboard where the stunt stands are kept. We both fish one out and start practicing our stunts and having a competition on who can stay on while the other try's to push them off. We are doing that for an hour before mum says "c'mon you two where going to startbucks before a sleepover." Gianna and I turn our heads towards each other and start jumping up and down. We stay like this until we reach the car. We then launch into furious chatter. When we reach Starbucks we all walk up to the counter where we order:
Me: Grande Vanilla Bean Frapacino and Bagel
Gianna: Grande Double Chocolate Chip Frapacino and Cinamon Roll
Mum: Lemon iced tea and blueberry bagel. We sat down and were enjoying our Starbucks until Allie came in with Jade and Kiara.
