(Mer POV)

I fell to the floor, feeling immense pain in my shoulder and chest. I couldn't breathe. Mr Henry walked over and stood over me "that's for killing my wife." He said before running down the hall. I put my hands on my chest, feeling the blood run from the wounds. I tried to apply pressure the best that I could. I need help, but if I don't get it soon I'm going to die.

(Der POV)

She kept talking, stalling I should say. Her words were heartfelt. I love her so much. "Would your wife still love you?" I heard her say. "You don't get to talk about my wife." He replied. I watched as he raised the gun and fired two shots, one in her chest and one in her shoulder. I watched her fall to the fall, struggling to breathe and bleeding profusely. "Oh shit. NO!" I yelled. "We gotta do something!!" I yelled. "We can't. They won't let anyone in." Richard replied. "Screw that." I said as I ran into the building, ignoring the protests from the agents and my friends. Apparently there were agents following me in, ready to back me up. I ran towards the hallway Meredith was in, ready to help her. I stopped when I saw Mr Henry. The agents saw him too, and fired shots. They shot him in the chest 3 times, which allowed me to run to Meredith. I saw her, laying there, obviously struggling to breathe. I bent down to her, pressing my hands against her chest. She winced in pain when I did so. "Hey Mer, it's okay, I'm here." I said. "I- I can't br- breathe." She tried to say. "I know, I'm gonna get you outta here in just a sec." I replied, trying to hide my blatant fear.

(Richard POV)

I was watching the cameras. So far we have 12 reported deaths. Meredith was shot twice. I need to make sure she doesn't die. I want to go hide. Drink. But I can't. I have a job to do. "Let's get a gurney ready and get blood and an IV! Prep an ambulance to take her to Seattle Pres!" I yelled going back into doctor mode. Bailey and the interns scattered, all getting supplies from different places.

(Mer POV)

It hurts. It hurts so bad I can't breathe. Derek is with me, which makes the pain a little better. "It's okay. I got you. Your okay." I hear him whisper in my ear. He picks me up and runs down the stairs. "We will be out soon Mer, just stay with me, okay?" He said. "Uh huh." I said. I could feel myself losing consciousness. I closed my eyes snuggled myself deeper in his chest. I could feel him running as fast as he could. "Almost there Mer, just hold on for me, okay?" He asked. I felt to weak to respond, so I just nodded against his chest. I opened my eyes weakly to see that we were at the door. He slammed open the door and looked around. "Richard!" He yelled and ran towards him.
