Chapter 18

Y/N and Nayeon were finally in bed. Don't get the wrong idea, they will just be sleeping next to each other. However they both couldn't fall asleep. There was this tension in the room that kept both of them awake even though they weren't even facing each other. Nayeon's heart is beating fast. She can't believe she's laying so close to Y/N right now.

"Y/N are you awake?" 

"Yes. What's up?" Y/N said turning her body laying on her back. Nayeon decided to do the same thing.

"I can't sleep." The teacher informed.

"Me neither." 

"Can we cuddle? I mean only if you want to." Nayeon asked and Y/N raised her eyebrows. She has never cuddled with anyone before. She has recieved a couple of hugs from her friends, but that's about it. How do you even cuddle? 

"S-sure." Y/N said and Nayeon scooted closer laying her head on the student's shoulder. Y/N didn't know what to do. Her mind went completely blank. She has never recieved any affection or love from anyone. So can you blame her that she doesn't know how to show these things? Actually Minju tried very hard to show her these things, but Y/N is dense and didn't understand any of it. 

"Aigo Y/N, you're so stiff." Ms. Im noticed how Y/N didn't cuddle her back. 

"I-I'm sorry, I just don't know what to do." Y/N admitted. She feels embarrassed.

"Here, just like this." Nayeon guided Y/N's arms around her body and now they were cuddling.

"Does it feel nice?" The last thing that the teacher wants is for Y/N to feel uncomfortable. Even though the student hasn't revealed much about her past and her parents. She can feel the lack of love and affection Y/N is missing. 

"Yeah, it does." Y/N likes this a lot. Her heart is beating very fast right now. Nayeon fits perfectly in her arms. It's like their bodies were made for each other. They stood like this for a couple of minutes in silence, enjoying each other's company until Nayeon spoke up.

"Y/N, live with me." Nayeon whispered but Y/N heard it very well.

"W-what?" 

"Live with me. I don't want you to live there anymore, so just move in with me." Nayeon said distancing herself a bit so that she can see Y/N's face.

"That's way too dangerous and risky. What if anyone finds out? You'll lose your job. We can't do this." Y/N shook her head.

"No one will find out. We'll keep it a secret. I'm just, I'm really worried. I'm so scared that I'll go to school one day and won't see your face because something bad happened to you." Nayeon's eyes were teary. She never realized how much she actually cares for the younger one. She will take the risk of living with her if it means that Y/N will be safe.

"I know you're scared but I can't let you take a risk like that. Just like how you care about me, I care about you as well and the thing I don't want is for you to get involved in my misery and lose your job." 

"I-I just want you to be safe and I know you'll be safe here." Nayeon couldn't hold back her tears so she let them fall.

"Aigo, unnie. Don't cry, please. Why are you crying?" Y/N got closer to her and wiped her tears with her thumb.

"I love you Y/N." The student couldn't believe her ears. Did she hear it right? Is she hallucinating? Y/N has never heard those three words in her life and she isn't really sure what it means. But one thing she knows is that she loves Nayeon as well. She loves her teacher more than anything in this world. She hugged her teacher tightly and Nayeon let her tears fall once again.

"I love you too." Y/N whispered after a whole minute.

"You d-do?" Nayeon pulled away from the hug. Even though Y/N already told her this before, she still finds it hard to believe. 

"Yeah, I fucking do." The younger one smiled weakly.

"Does that mean you'll live with me?" Y/N sighed. She doesn't know how to explain this.

"No."

"Why? Like I said we'll keep this a secret Y/N, no one will find out. And you're pretty good at keeping secrets, aren't you? No one knows anything about you. So we'll keep this a secret just like that. And after you graduate people won't even care. I know you're worried about my job, but we can do this." Nayeon tried to convince the student.

"This isn't just about your job. I'd actually love to live with you. I'd love to wake up and see your face everyday. You make me feel like a better person whenever you're around me. You show me love and you take care of me, which I'm very grateful for. But like I've said earlier, this isn't just about your job. It's about me. It isn't just my life that's a mess, it's me as well. I'm not okay, and that's why I don't want you to get involved with me. I have demons that I need to get rid of first before I let you in." What is she talking about? Demons?What is Y/N hiding? 

"Look, I won't force you to tell me everything or to move in with me, but just know that we'll get through this together. I won't let you get through it alone, okay?" The teacher said holding Y/N's face.

"I really want to kiss you right now." Y/N admitted.

"Then what are you waiting for?" Nayeon whispered seductively. It was very hot and Y/N couldn't contain herself anymore so she kissed her teacher. The kiss was full of love and it was slow. 

"I knew that you liked me for a couple of weeks now." Nayeon said smirking when they pulled away from the kiss.

"What? How?"

"How can you not fall for me? Look at me I'm perfect." Nayeon gestured to herself.

"Aish, why are you so narcissistic all the time?" Y/N shook her head.

"Shut up, you love my confidence." 

"True, I love girls with confidence." Y/N admitted. Confidence is a huge turn on for her. 

"Like that Kim Minju girl?" Nayeon has heard many rumours about the two for the past few weeks and she knows that Minju is a confident girl as well.

"Yah, why are you suddenly talking about her?" 

"I just keep hearing rumours that you two are dating." 

"Hmm, you're jealous aren't you?" The student teased her.

"How can I not be jealous? She's really pretty. I also heard that you were head over heels for her last year." She heard Y/N's friends talking about how Y/N used to really like Minju.

"That was in the past. I only have eyes for my seonsaengnim now." That made Nayeon smile and she cuddled Y/N.

"Why didn't you give her a chance? It's obvious that she likes you as well." 

"She's rich, Do you think she'll still like me when she finds out that I'm poor? No. Even if she still does, her family won't. So I just had to give up on her. She's way above my level." Y/N explained. Y/N has liked a few girls in the past but never really made a move because of her situation. However it was different with Minju. She did make a move but regretted it afterwards.

"Do you still like her?"

"I already said I don't. Stop being so jealous." 

"Says the one that keeps glaring at Jeongyeon whenever she's around me." Nayeon smiled upon recalling how jealous she is when Jeongyeon is around her.

"That's different. She's your ex-girlfriend that you've dated for three years." 

"And Minju is a girl that you liked for a pretty long time and don't act like nothing was going on between you two. You two were basically in a relationship without calling it a relationship."

"That's kinda true, I guess. But hey, let's stop talking about our ex-girlfriends and just sleep okay? We have school tomorrow." Y/N caressed Nayeon's hair and kissed her forehead before they both drifted to sleep.
