Benny x reader

Part 9

Alan goes to bed and soon I find myself crawling up to the roof like how I used to everyday before I left. As I get up to the roof I get the deja vu feeling. I see a figure sitting on the far side of the roof.

"Benny?" I question.

"Y/n!" he rejoiced as he got up and sat next to me.

"I missed you a lot Ben," I remarked as I lay my head on his shoulder.

"I missed you too. Looking at the stars didn't do me justice," he tells me wrapping an arm around me. I smile at what he said.

"I'm sorry I didn't come and see you sooner."

"It's fine. I'm happy to see you."

"I'm happy to see you too." I smile happily to be with him agan.

"Anything you want to talk about?"

"West Virginia was great but you already knew that from my calls and letters. This is my first night at the house in almost a year so there's that."

"Well nothing is really new with me. School, baseball, sleep, repeat. That's pretty much it," he informs me. We stare at the stars for about an hour before Benny finally speaks up.

"I should probably get going. I have school tomorrow and it's gonna be after 1 by the time I get home."

"Why go home? Why not stay here?"

"I didn't want to assume that offer was on the table."

"Come on," I chirp as I start to climb off the roof. Benny follows suit and soon we are in my room laying on my bed. Benny stays as far away as possible from me at first. Although as soon as he thinks I'm sleeping he puts his arm around me and nuzzles his head in my neck. We fall asleep like that.
