The next morning I woke up to the smell of bacon and eggs. I walk downstairs and see Benny sitting at the table.

"Hey sunshine," he beams, getting up to give me a hug.

"Hi Benny," I chirp, giving him a quick peck on the lips.

"Benny here was telling us about how his school year went." my mother informs me.

"Oh alright. What's for breakfast? It smells great!" I ask.

"Oh I'm making eggs, bacon, pancakes, the works." Travis tells me.

"Wow that sounds amazing," I rave leaning my head on Benny's shoulder.  Benny wraps his arm around me pulling me closer to him. Travis hands us plates of food while my brother waltzes in.

"Morning," he mumbles half asleep.

"Good morning sleepy head," I laugh, elbowing him as he sits next to me, "nice hair."

"Yeah-yeah make fun of me all you want." he gripes.

"Whatever you say Yeah-Yeah," I giggle at him swatting my hand away as I try to fix his hair. We all eat our food then Alan and I go back up to our rooms to change and get ready for the day. Alan, Benny, and I go to a park.

"So Alan and I filled out the emancipation forms," I tell Benny.

"Wow okay that was fast. Does your mom know?" he asks.

"Not yet. We are gonna tell her after our dad signs them. We're gonna go to supper with him tonight," Alan tells Benny.

"Is he gonna sign them tonight?" Benny asks.

"No we're gonna wait until next time," I interject.

"Well you two are more than welcome to stay with me if you want," Benny announces.

"Awe thanks Benny," I whisper, kissing his cheek. We hang out at the park until an hour before dinner. We drop Benny off at his house and then go to our father's house for dinner. As we walk up the sidewalk I can tell my brother is nervous.

"Hey it'll be okay," I smile as I grab his hand as I ring the doorbell. We hear footsteps and soon the door opens revealing our father.

"Hey Daddy," I sing as I give him a hug.

"Hey sweetheart," my dad beams, wrapping his arms around me.

"Hey Alan," my dad says, sticking his hand out for Alan. But Alan doesn't take it. Instead he surprises us and wraps his arms around our father.

"Hey Dad. I've missed you," he mumbles.

"I've missed you too Alan. I've missed seeing you guys," our dad says, "well come in guys suppers almost ready. I have someone I want you to meet. Well you've already met her y/n but I want Alan to meet her." Our father leads us into the living room where a baseball game is playing on the TV. I sit on the couch while my father goes and continues making supper.

"You know you can sit down right?" I state.

"Yeah alright I'll sit down to make you happy," he grumbles.

"I need to tell you something and I don't know if you'll like it."

"What is it?"

"Well the person dad wants you to meet is his new wife and it's Phillips mom."

"What!"

"Look Phillips stays at his dad's most of the time. He only comes here every other weekend. Plus his mom is super nice. She's nothing like Phillips at all." I state trying to convince him to give her a chance.
