Mixed feelings

Summer lovin'

Barry's POV
After I talked to iris and eddy about helping with a new story about the new teleporting meta things just started feeling bitter with iris and me. Maybe it's time to let old things go and build something new. I stood there for a few seconds outside of the police station then started thinking how I could help with the teleporting meta and find a new relationship at the same time.
I thought maybe Caitlin could use a night out and a drink.

Caitlins POV
I was looking at the samples of the new teleporting meta's particles when I get a call on my phone. It's from Barry. He asked me out to a bar to see if Shawna went into some old habits. I thought maybe it's time to turn over a new leaf, I started thinking of what Barry said to me earlier "So you have everything to do with not having a life?" His words echoed in my mind, maybe I should do something about my "non-life". I said sure to Barry because maybe it's time to start something new.

Barry's POV

As Caitlin walked in I was astonished of how beautiful she was with that low cut black dress. Her curly brown hair, her beautiful eyes. She was so gorgeous. I was snapped out of my trance when the I heard sound of her voice.

Caitlins POV

I walked in to the bar Barry asked me to go to and right off the bat I notice barry looking at me like he's stoned. Maybe something happened? I thought. I asked him is everything alright? He began to say "what?" like he didn't hear me, Then I repeated the question and he said "yea everything's fine."
I thought maybe I was the one that was distracting him.

Barry's POV

When I replied to her question she started growing a smile on her face. I started trying to say "you look bea—great". Her smile got a little bit bigger then she says. What? I don't always dress like a principle. Caitlin said "well you look good either way". I said then She blushed.
She calls a bartender over and gets a drink.
She starts to gulp down the drink and then asks the bartender to start a tab.

3rd person view

Barry asked the bartender for some water then while he was drinking his water his thoughts trailed off. Why did she dress that way for me? He thought. Does she like me? Do I like her? He started hearing a familiar voice on the microphone on the stage. He looked up on the stage and saw caitlin waving at him to come on the stage. He started shaking his head to decline but then he started hearing the crowd chanting his name. He started walking through the path to the stage "can I even sing?" he thought while stepping onto the stage. "I guess I'll just roll with it". He thought

Caitlins POV

"He's looks so cute singing" she thought while he was singing drowning out her voice. I started singing a little bit louder again and then we became a duet. After the song ended I see Barry walk back to the bar table and I decided to follow him. He tried to ask the bartender to close the tab they opened then I walked up to the table and said "hey! We got a tab to close mister" and he looked at Barry and me then started tapping on the screen of the electronic register.
I started to feel the alcohol coming back out my throat then started tapping Barry's shoulder .
He sped me outside then I threw up on the concrete. I started trying to say "I would like to go home now".

3rd person

As Barry sped Caitlin home he started thinking "what if I'm not supposed to end up with iris?"
He started searching deeper into his thoughts and discovered he was feeling something with cait, it felt like the electricity he feels when he runs but more.
"Do I have feelings for Caitlin?" He thought

Barry's POV

As he got her home to her apartment she starts drunkenly saying "you deserve some happiness and you deserve someone who cares for you"
Maybe she wasn't that drunk?
Was she talking about iris?
She started taking off her clothes so I looked away then she said
"A little help?"
I took off her cloths and put her purple pajamas on.
She started saying "you took a peak didn't you?"
I replied saying "I wouldn't be much of a hero if I did. he said
"if you did that's ok, you deserve a quick look and a small bit of happiness" she said
Barry looked at her and she looked so beautiful, not the look of her but how he felt around her, it was exhilarating. He was caught in a trance.

Caitlins POV

He started staring at me. His eyes, they were amazing to look into. An ocean. I felt warm around him. He helped me when times were tough, He made me smile when I was so low. She was caught in a trance hoping to never get out of.

3rd person

They're faces inched closer and closer until there lips touched. They both were surging with electricity. That moment lasted forever. That connection between the two of them. A complete circuit. That moment lasted forever but at the same time they both thought it didn't last long enough.
They both let go of each other and Caitlin yawned
Ok it's bed time Barry said
Why do you get to decide that? Caitlin said
You yawned and you can barely keep your eyes open Barry replied
Fine I'll just close my eyes for a few seco— Caitlin said before falling back on her bed and proceeding to snore
Barry tucked Caitlin in and kissed her on her forehead then Caitlin smiled and said "your a good kisser" then fell back asleep
