Lillian's POV

I slowly walked over to one of the open spots in the class. The tables in this class was like the Bio tables in school, big and black for two people. I slowly pulled the seat out before sitting down, the girl next to me instantly smiling at me. I slowly smiled back, lord please just let this class be okay.

The teacher walked into the room, as she stood in front of the class with her arms open. She began to scan the room as I narrowed my eyes as the girl next to me chuckled a bit.

"I am Ms. Lynn, I am going to be teaching this class. I have the simplest rules ever and if you cant obey them, you are out."

I slowly swallowed, she talked way to fast for me. I didn't want to raise my hand to ask her to slow down because instantly I would have to get an interpreter and I didn't want that.

"Do the assignments that are assigned to you, and participate."

She held her arms up again before dropping them to her side. She said something to make the class stand up as I quickly looked at the girl next to me. She was grabbing her things as I tapped her arm.

"Yes?"

I quickly grabbed my phone out before typing it out, and showing it to her.

I have no clue what in the hell she just said, I'm deaf. Can you help me?

She gasped before quickly sitting back down, slinging her jacket in her lap.

"She said that as long as you participate and do your work, you will pass."

Her small pale hands were flying through the signs as I slowly smiled and nodded.

"She also said to take a picture of something meaningful to you and have it for next week."

I smiled before nodding, Thank you so much. I'm Lillian by the way.

"I'm Brea and it's nice to meet you too. If you ever need help just ask me, okay."

I smiled before nodding, she stood up and walked out of the class as I slowly smiled and stood up. I turned around to notice a boy was sitting at the back desk, his hands in his hair and his eyes were closed.

I slowly looked around before walking over to him and slowly tapped his arm. He didn't budge, I let out a sigh before tapping him harder. This time his eyes flickered open and scanned my face.

"What the hell, is class already over?"

I narrowed my eyes at him, I couldn't make out what he was saying between the yawning and stretching. He stood up before grabbing his book's and looking back at me.

"What are you doing?"

I quickly shook my head before walking out of the class, the door almost hitting someone on the way out. I let out a sigh before making my way up the hill to the bus stop, I needed to get out of here and get home away from all these hearing people.
