Lillian's POVThe sunlight was beaming against the window in my room casting a reflection along my face. I needed to put my curtain up soon so this can't happen every morning. Dragging myself out of bed, literally, I was finally in front of the mirror in my bathroom. My clock across the room read, 6:30 AM, times like these I wish I woke up like a damn princess.
After brushing through the tangles in my hair, and quickly throwing it up in a messy bun. I had decided that maybe that wasn't the right look considering I had my first day of Digital Photography class after school. Flinging my hair out of the bun and flat ironing my hair making sure every hump and frizz was now straight as a board. I brushed my teeth, and started applying my daily makeup making sure my bags and blemishes were gone.
Throwing things out of the closet was usually a daily routine until I finally decided on something. After throwing practically everything off the hanger's I had found one of my dresses and paired it with one of my favorite green button ups.
The light from inside my room began to flash, as I quickly grabbed my bag and one of my beanies hanging up before flinging it on my head and walking out of my room. My mom was walking to the door, as I went into the kitchen and grabbed my lunch before putting it into my bag.
"Good morning Ashton." My mom said smiling at him, as he smiled back and walked into the kitchen. He tapped the counter as I looked at him and smiled.
"Morning, don't you look all nice today."
I frowned, So you're saying I don't look nice everyday.
His eyes watched my hands, as he started laughing and shook his head.
"No, I'm saying you look extra nice today." Ashton signed to me as I giggled and shook my head.
Pulling my bag closer around me, I started my way to the door and turned around. Ashton was making his way behind me, my mom smiled at me.
"Have a nice day, and have a good time in your photography class."
Thank you.
Ashton and I went to separate school's considering that Ashton and myself were two totally different people. I had tried once going to a hearing school, but between the ignorant teachers and students I couldn't handle it. My interpreter couldn't even handle it, so going to Carlton was a blessing. He pulled into the front of the school as I turned towards him.
You forgot to mention the picture of the cute girl on your phone background.
He slowly smiled and looked down at his phone before looking at me.
"Remember the girl I was telling you about a couple of weeks ago, Claudia."
"We have been partnered up for a project in Bio and this picture of us is cute."
I smiled before nodding, Invite her to lunch today since it's my turn to go to your school.
He slowly smiled and nodded, before I opened the door and turned back to him.
I'll see you at lunch, don't forget to ask her to come join.

Ashton and Claudia were sitting at our normal table right outside of the school. I smiled before walking up the hill and over to the table. Ashton looked over at me and smiled before looking at Claudia.
"This is Lillian, my best friend I always tell you about."
Claudia smiled before holding her hands up. Oh no, she's going to make a fool of herself if she has no clue how to sign.
"It's nice to meet you."
I raised my eyebrows before sitting down and looking at Ashton, You didn't tell me she knows ASL.
"I had no clue either." He said wide eyed looking at me before scanning over to Claudia.
"My cousin is deaf, so I had to teach myself and our family." She said as I smiled and grabbed my food out of the bag. My mom always made good lunch for me everyday, nothing wrong with a 18 year old getting mommy to make food for her.
"So how did you two meet?" Claudia ask as Ashton looked at me, knowing I was going to answer. I smiled before putting my fork down. Everyone asked this considering Ashton moved here young form Australia, and myself being here my whole life.
His mom and my mom have been best friends since forever. His mom Ann was living here before she found Ashton's dad and moved to Australia, and she got pregnant and came back to the states. Ashton and I have been best friends ever since, we are practically brother and sister. If anyone asks we usually just say we are, because we've grown up side by side.
Claudia smiled at me and then at Ashton, Did he leave out the part he's really good at writing music and he plays the drums but will never pick back up on it because he's stupid.
Claudia gasped as I let out a low giggle before grabbing my fork, letting Ashton explain.
"I just stopped playing drums, I'm not really into it anymore."
Claudia shook her head, "That's to bad because I have a thing for drummers."
The bell began to ring as she stood up and walked off, Ashton was dumbfounded. I pulled the fork from my mouth before throwing my trash away. I waved off to Ashton before walking down the hill and making my way down the street to Carlton.
