Lillian's POV
I stood in line at the coffee shop, that wasn't the first time someone has gotten mad at me over something like that. I had grabbed Michael's hand in shock, and I still haven't bothered to let go of it.
The barista smiled at me before I looked up at Michael. His face was flushed, as I narrowed my eyes at him as he began to order. He didn't bother to ask what I wanted as I looked back at the lady who was growing a tad bit impatient. I slid my hand away from his before pulling my phone out and typing it down. I held it in front of me as the lady nodded, as I slid my phone back into my pocket.
Michael had quickly paid for our coffee, and grabbed them. He motioned his head towards the back of the coffee shop as I started to follow him. I felt someone grab my shoulder as I turned around.
"Hey." Ashton said smiling as I raised my eyebrows and smiled. Claudia smiled at me before waving, as I waved back.
"What are you doing here?"
Grabbing some coffee with a friend.
Ashton wiggled his eyebrows before smiling at me, "Does this friend happen to be that boy."
I giggled as I turned around, Michael had sat down near the back facing away from us. I motioned for them to follow as I patted Michael's shoulder as he turned around. Michael's eyes widdened before he instantly stood up from the chair.
I narrowed my eyes at Michael before looking at Ashton, who had gotten in front of him. His jawline was locked, and his eyes were staring directly into Michael's.
"Well, Well." Ashton said as Michael shook his head before crossing his arms.
"Didn't think you were coming to the states."
"Yeah well I did." Michael spat out as I tried to follow their lips.
"Didn't think you would leave Aus, since your so wrapped up there." Ashton spat out as I looked at Michael before patting his arm. He looked over at me as I frowned.
You didn't tell me you are Australian.
Michael watched my hands as he slowly sighed before Ashton chuckled, " She doesn't know you're Australian. You didn't tell her you knew me."
"No, I really didn't think anything of it."
Ashton looked back at me before shaking his head. I shook my head before holding my hands up.
How do you know each other!?
"Yeah Michael, how do we know each other. Why don't you tell Lil how you didn't inform me that my mom was being cheated on by my piece of shit father."
Claudia had stepped to the side to sign for me, as I watched her hands.
"Ashton, I've told you over and over again. I wasn't sure what was going on! You can't hold that over my god damn head." Michael spat out as Ashton rolled his eyes.
"Whatever, let's get out of here Claudia." Ashton spat out before turning away. Claudia looked at me before frowning and following Ashton towards the front of the store. I looked at Michael before running out of the store. I grabbed Ashton's shoulder as he flung it back causing me to stumble back.
" I can't believe you are friends with him." Ashton said as I raised my eyebrows before shaking my head.
Whoa, do you expect me to drop him like a hat because of something that happened so long ago. Ashton, because Michael didn't tell you about your father doesn't mean it would have changed. Your father didn't love your mom and you know that.
"Don't talk about my mother like that." Ashton spat out as he took a step towards me. I had never seen that look in Ashton's eyes before, and I can truly say I was scared. He noticed my reaction as he turned around and quickly walked off. Claudia trailing behind as I stood there and watched him walk away.
I took a deep breath before walking back inside, Michael was sitting down at the table as I slowly sat in front of him. His eyes were staring outside, as I tapped his hand with my finger tip.
"I understand if you don't want to talk to me."
I shook my head before grabbing my journal from my bag, I tore a page out before writing.
No, I'm not mad at you Michael. I wish you would have told me you were Australian thought, that's why I struggle so hard reading your lips.
I spun the paper around and laid the pen on top before passing it to him. His eyes flickered down before he began to skim the paper. His lips slowly tugged into a smile before he began to write.
His hand glided over the paper slowly as he spun it around to me, before handing me the pen.
Thank you. You were suppose to be teaching me some signing right? Why not start now, how do I sign I really like you?
I looked up to see him staring directly at me. I could feel my heart starting to beat faster and faster as I began to slowly sign it. His eyes following my hands as he mimicked everything, and pointed at me.
I slowly held my hands out before signing, me too.
His body had slowly leaned over the table as I could feel my grip on my hands getting tighter. His eyes flickered down to my lips before I slowly closed my eyes. I hadn't kissed a boy since my elementary day's and my first kiss was Ashton cause he thought it would be cool for us to have our first kiss together. Little did we know that we would instantly feel grossed out and regret it for the rest of our lives.
It felt like eternity but his lips had finally landed on mine. They were so soft and plump as he molded them into mine. I slowly deepened the kiss as I felt his hand touch the side of my cheek, as I slowly opened my eyes. His lips were no longer against mine and I was aching for them to come back.
I could feel the heat coming off of my cheeks, I was surely blushing. He slowly smiled before reaching over the table and grabbing my hand.
"I should be getting you home now." He said slowly as I giggled and nodded. He was right, I had no clue how late it was getting but I needed to get home for school tomorrow.
The bus ride to my house wasn't that long as I laid my head over on his shoulder and watched the bus go by the dim light streets. His arm lightly pulling me by my waist closer against him every bump we hit.
The bus came to a halt at the bus stop as I looked at Michael and smiled.
"I'll see you tomorrow?"
I narrowed my eyes as he smiled, "We're going out again."
I slowly smiled before nodding and standing up. He stood up and stepped out into the aisle as I did the same. I started to make my way to the front before I stopped. I took a deep breath before walking back over to him and pulling him down to me by his shirt. His hands quickly landing on my hips before I pressed my lips against his.
I'm sure the bus driver coughed and signalled us but good thing for being deaf. I pulled away from him as I slowly smiled and made my way off the bus. This was one crazy "first date".
