Chapter 10

(Lucy POV) I finished packing the food into a basket and fixed my hair a bit. I put my keys on my belt and grabbed the basket Natsu brought over and walked out. He's is supposed to meet me in the forest.

~At the Sakura Tree forest~

"Oi! Luce! Over here!" Natsu waved me over sitting on a light blue blanket next to a sleeping Happy. I walked over and placed the basket on the ground and sat down in front of them.

I noticed the leaves on the trees were starting to fall down. I can't believe its already October. Time has flown by so much.

Wait... October is...

"NO! I can't believe I forgot!" I said angrily to myself that made Natsu shocked and wake up the sleeping Happy.

"Forgot what?" Happy mumbled rubbing his eyes still half asleep.

"Halloween is soon! We need to plan our costumes and what to do for the talent part!" I exclaimed and tried to pick out ideas.

"But don't we get assigned our partners? How do we know we'll get chosen together?" Natsu asked confused.

"Mira does the choosing, right?" I said simply and his eyes widened in realization. We both laughed and started to eat some of the food.

"What if we do something Silent Hill?" Natsu asked with food stuffed in his mouth.

"Not happening. How about Beauty and the Beast?" I suggested. Natsu simply made a 'X' with his arms. I sighed.

"Wait" An idea popped in his head "What if we do Stormcloaks from Skyrim?" Natsu suggested with a big smile. He and I love to play video games together.

"That's a great idea! I'll dress as the dragon by the way." Happy said munching on some fish I brought just in case.

"Shouldn't I be the dragon?" Natsu asked a little annoyed.

"No because we have to match if we want to win." I said with a small smile "And if we win, you can rub it in Grays face~" I said with a smirk, knowing that'd get him to agree.

"Alright! I'm in!" Natsu said with his face full of determination "Wait, how many days do we have left?" Natsu asked suddenly looking back to normal.

I looked at my watch that had the date on it. It was October 24th.... "We have a week but they'll be done before hand. Now since you came up with the costumes, I get to choose the talent par.t" I said with a smug face.

"Fine." Natsu pouted and crossed his arms over his chest like a 5 year old. He does that a lot, doesn't he?

"We're going to sing the Skyrim Stormcloak song 'Age of Opression'. I'll do the singing so all you'll have to do is play the guitar." I said with a smile on my face.

"What?! That's boring. I wanna sing too!" Natsu said leaning in close to my face making me go bright red.

"Can you even sing?" I asked with my blush slowly going away.

"Yeah. Let's go practice! I wanna kick Strippers butt!" Natsu exclaimed excited. I grabbed the blanket and the basket and walked with Natsu back to my apartment. We didn't even get to eat. Or he ate it all in secret. Probably the last one.
