NAPATAYO sa gulat si Gianna at naghahanap ng tubig dahil nabilaukan Ito sa sinabi ni Ezequiel. Nataranta naman si Ezequiel at agad tumawag ng waiter, nagalit pa Ito dahil matagal dumating.

"Can't you see!? My girl here are choking to death yet you came so late!? What kind of staff are you?!" Halos lumabas na ang litid ni Ezequiel dahil sa galit. Panay sorry naman ang waiter sa kanila. "Shut the fuck up and leave!!" Sigaw pa nito na agad namang sinunod ng waiter.

Napatingin naman si Ezequiel kay Gianna na nakatingin sa kanya, agad siyang lumapit dito at hinagod ang likod nito. Pero agad rin siyang napalayo say dalaga nang marealize niya ang ginawa nito, umiwas siya ng tingin and clear his throat.

"W-What do you mean?" Kinakabahang tanong ni Gianna sa kanya nang mahimasmasan na Ito. Lumingon si Ezequiel sa kanya and this time wala na namang emosyon ang mukha niya at sumeryoso ito.

"Be my girlfriend." Walang paligoy-ligoy nitong saad, "I will pay you for pretending to be my girlfriend." Seyosong saad ni Ezequiel sa kanya, napataas naman ng kilay si Gianna.

"What!?" She shriek, sumandal siya sa backrest ng upuan habang naka cross arms siya. "No freaking way! Well then, thank you for the dinner but, I won't accept your offer!" Dugtong niya, balak na sana nitong umalis when Ezequiel stop her.

"I will pay you 20 million a month." Napaupo pabalik si Gianna at tinaasan siya ulit ng kilay. Damnit! 20 million? Magagamit ko na Yun for my charity!

"Even if you pay me million, I won't still accept your offer Mr. Carrodeguas, now can I take my leave?" Aniya at tumayo, di pa siya nakakalayo ay nagsalita ulit si Ezequiel.

"Half million? I guess it's enough for you to accept my offer?" Napapikit si Gianna. My ghad! Ba't madali lang sa kanya ang magbigay ng ganun kalaking pera para lang magpanggap na girlfriend? Is that how wealthy he is?

"Let me think about it." Sagot niya at tuluyan ng umalis sa Restaurant.

Ezequiel is so eager to find a fake girlfriend, and he don't even know why he choose Gianna to pretend as his fake girlfriend. Maybe because he likes her? Or maybe he wants to owned her?

"What do you want fucker?" He ask as he saw Virgo walking towards him, while his hands is on his pocket.

"I've heard everything you say, so, what's the feeling of being rejected? Ha?" Virgo said teasingly, but he just received a death glare from Ezequiel. "Come on bro, why did you choose her to pretend as your girlfriend? Do you like her?" He added, pero tinabig lang siya ni Ezequiel at naglakad paalis.

"I'll send my money directly to your bank account." Ezequiel said and march out the Restaurant.

Ezequiel wash his face using his palm and hold his forehead as he sit on the driver seat. He always think what Virgo said to him a minute ago — Like her? Ha! That's impossible! Why would I like a girl like her? His not part of my taste.

He sigh heavily before he start the engine and start driving on the road. Meanwhile, Gianna are still thinking of  Ezequiel's offer —What if I'll accept his offer? But nah! Baka masabihan pa ako na mukhang pera. Pero sayang naman, magagamit ko yun for my upcoming charity, malaking tulong na iyon para sa mga bata. She thought.

Her mother are not around when she arrived at their penthouse only the secretary of her mother ang nadatnan niya. Maybe because, nasa kaibigan na naman ito. Demiretso siya sa kwarto niya and lock it, she put her bag on the side table and then dive on the bed.

"I'm exhausted!" She said and roll over, she stared at the ceiling for 5 seconds and sigh. "I miss you Dad." She said suddenly then a small tears escaped from her eyes.

Since her father passed away, ang mommy na niya ang nagpapatuloy sa pagpalago nang business nila. Gianna are so closed to her father, at dahil sa sobrang close nila nagmumukha na silang magbabarkada. "If I wanted to have a boyfriend, I want him to be like you Dad." She said and smile bitterly when she remembered what her dad said to her — 'Mon chéri, je veux que tu aies une vie meilleure à l'avenir. Je veux que vous trouviez un homme qui vous traitera et vous respectera comme une princesse. Un homme qui aimera et soint à vous plus que moi et que je vous protégeez comme un verre fragile, car c'est comme ça que je t'aime' — na ang ibig sabihin sa English ay — 'My darling, I want you to have a better life in the future. I want you to find a man that will treat and respect you like a princess. A man that will love and care for you more than I do, and protect you like a fragile glass, because that's how I love you.' —she immediately wipe her tears and sat up and get her father's picture then hug it. "I won't forget that Dad." She said to herself.

EZEQUIEL drove directly to their mansion when he received a text from her mother. Minsan lang kasing umuwi si Ezequiel sa mansion nila dahil, mas gusto pa nitong tumira sa penthouse nito. Nasa malayo pa lang siya ay bumukas na agad ang malaking tarangkahan papunta sa mansion nila, — I should ready myself for what my mother would say again.. tss! If I know, mangungulit na naman yun.

After he park his car, agad siyang lumabas at inayos ang sarili. He breath in and out bago siya pumasok. As soon as he enter , a bunch of house maids welcome him and in the edge of it is their Butler together with her Mom.

"hijo!" Her mom squealed joyfully, then hug him so tight. "My unico hijo, aren't you welcome your mom?" Saad nito sa nagtatampong boses.

"Mom, your doing that again." Suway ni Ezequiel at inalalayan niya ang Ina, "Butler Hill please bring food and drinks to the Veranda." Utos niya kay Butler Hill, yumuko naman Ito bago sumagot. "Yes master."

"Son." Panimula ng kanyang Ina as soon as they reach the veranda. "If you're still looking a girlfriend, then let me do it for you." Napalingon si Ezequiel sa kanya when he heard his mom's word — what? Siya ang maghahanap para sa'kin? No way!

"You don't have to do that Mom." He said and leaned on the railings. Narinig niya ang pagbuntong hininga ng Ina, at tumabi ito sa kanya. Madilim na ang buong paligid, at tanging nagbibigay tanglaw lang sa madilim na paligid ay ang mga mumunting ilaw ng mansion. Mas lalong gumanda ang paligid ng mansion dahil sa mga pailaw na nakapaligid sa mga halaman, lalo na ang fountain nila na paiba-iba and kulay ng ilaw.

"I just want you to be happy son, that's all what I wanted and please I need a grandchild." Sa sinabi nito ay napatingin siya sa kanyang Ina, — a grandchild?!
