Deine Sierra PoV
We have to perform to get higher grades, bale ito na 'yung magiging grades namin sa P.E at hindi na kami mag pe-periodic test.
I'm here, sitting at the bench while looking at her. She's smiling, but her smile doesn't reach her eyes, it's full of pain.
A pain that I don't want to see at her.
"Guys, just enjoy this. Kung mag kamali man kayo, wag niyo masyadong pahalata. Ngiti lagi okay? Isipin niyo practice lang 'to at walang nanonood sa'tin." Marjorie spoke, we just nodded at her.
-----
"Naka pag review ba kayo?" I asked, first grading exam na kasi namin ngayon.
"A little bit, I'm just trusting my stock knowledge." Ciara answered.
"Wow, stock knowledge pa nga. Baka ma out of stock ka niyan." I hissed.
"Nag review ako, but I think nakalimutan kona yung iba. Masyado akong maraming iniisip." Krizha answered, she looked bothered habang nagkakamot ng ulo.
I just nod at them at umayos na ng upo, dumating na kasi si Ma'am kaya nag simula na kaming mag sagot.
I looked at the window after kong mag sagot, remembering the first day of school.
"Hey, why are you two crying?" Cheska asked. "Nalipat lang ako ng section, hindi ng school. Don't cry, don't act like a kid na iniwan ng Mommy niya sa school." Cheska said, trying to say a joke but we didn't laugh.
You can't see any expression in Ciara's face, but Krizha is crying too, like me. Ciara is good in pretending and she's more better in hiding her expressions.
"Stop crying guys, don't make things extra hard for me." Cheska said while wiping our tears. She's trying hard not to cry.
"I'm sorry." I said at pinunasan 'yung mukha ko. We're at the school early in the morning, diko alam bakit, pero pinag usapan namin na maaga pumasok. We're just crying here tho'.
"Look, I'm sorry kung binigo ko kayo, kung hindi ko nagawa 'yung goal natin. Babawi ako, pangako 'yan." Cheska said.
"Can you guys promise me one thing?" Cheska asked, looking at us.
"What is it?" Krizha asked. Ciara remained silent, kanina pa siya 'di nag sasalita, she's not like this. Somethings wrong.
"Enjoy this school year kahit 'di niyo na'ko kaklase, I wanted to see you guys na umaakyat sa stage smiling widely." She told us.
"We will" I said and smiled forcedly.
"Can you promise us also, Ches?" Ciara suddenly spoke.
"Of course" Cheska answered, waiting for Ciara's reply.
"Do your best and make sure na we will also see you at the stage. Crying, not because of pain. But because of joy...tears of joy." Ciara said.
"Of course, I will."
"Ches" I said, we're not used to talk like this, mas gusto ko pa 'yung pag uusap namin na may asaran, murahan, hindi 'yung ganitong seryoso.
"Why?" She asked.
"Don't hide your problems to us" I said and look at her. "It hurts seeing you like that."
Her grandmother just died before the school year started. Siya 'yung grandma niya na sobrang close niya to the point that it destroyed her so much. Tapos eto nanaman, dumagdag pa ang dinadala niya dahil bumaba siya ng section.
