Deine Sierra PoV
"Arghh, why me?? Why I have to do this??" I asked annoyingly.
May practice kami ngayon, but I didn't attend the practice because Mom told me so. Pinagpa alam naman niya ako kay Coach, binigyan pa nga niya ng invitation letter for my Dad's birthday which is tomorrow.
"Deine Sierra," Mom said my whole name that made me suddenly stopped. "Bri, samahan mo si Desi." Mom said to Bright na kumakain ng cookies.
"Sure, Tita." Bright answered, that made me glared at him.
"Good. Desi, here's the money, nandyan na rin ang listahan."
"Mom, hindi ba pwedeng mag utos kana lang ng iba?" I asked.
"No, dapat matuto ka ng mag grocery." Lumaylay ang balikat ko sa sinabi niya. Tinanggap ko ang inabot niyang sling bag. "Umalis na kayo, marami rami 'yan."
Lumukot ang mukha ko. "Bakit parang pinapalayas mo na'ko, Mom??"
"Don't be OA, Desi."
"Fine!" I answered and walked towards Bright. I hold the hem of his shirt and dragged him out with me.
I'm wearing a shorts and a hoodie.
I said, and crossed my arms.
I already gave Ciara, Cheska, Krizha, Kerby, Kent and Andrew an invitation. I just hope that they will come. Sa bahay lang naman gagawin ang party and most of the visitors will surely be the business partners of Dad and Mom.
Grow up, tsaka kasama mo naman ako." Bright answered.
"May sinabi ba akong bata ako??"
"Saan kaba naiinis? Sa pag uutos sayo ng Mom mo, o dahil para 'to sa Dad mo?" I turned my gaze to Bright.
"Don't asked me, alam mo na ang sagot ko." I muttered.
He chuckled. "Of course, it's both."
I nodded by his remark at tumingin nalang sa bintana. I don't hate my father kung 'yan ang iniisip ng iba. I will never hate him, I'm just sad. Sad that he's not the kind of father that I want.
I'm always pressured because of him. He never felt contented. He never asked me if I'm still happy. The reason why I started to talk back.
I glared at Bright when I saw him from my peripheral vision, taking a picture of me. Nag e-emote ako dito!
Hinampas ko ang braso niya. "Stop that!" I hissed.
He just giggled at umakbay sa'kin.
"Picture tayo, Deine." He said, but I didn't smile. Sumimangot pa ako while glaring at him. "Come on, Deine. Smile!"
Tinignan ko muna siya ng masama, before I smiled at the camera.
"Deine, okay napala kayo ni Bright." Our driver suddenly spoke.
"Ahh, hindi pa po Kuya." I answered, honestly.
"What?! Akala ko okay na tayo??" Bright blurted out.
I heard Kuya's laugh. "Naalala ko pa nung umiyak si Deine kase daw iniwan mo siya, Bright."
My eyes widen. "Kuya naman." I let out a heavy sighed.
