Chapter 28: Seven Realm Tournament

"I hate this, bakit mo ba sinabi yun Ares?!"

"Alam mong gugulpihin niya tayo eh!"

"This is what happens when we allow Ares to speak out of his mind"

I wonder what my brothers are talking about? But I no one thing, yesterday was fun! I got to boss them around. It was hell for them but they deserved it, besides, ganun naman talaga ang relationship namin sa isa't isa. Its what we call "Savage Love" HAHAHA

"So.. anong pinaguusapan niyo?" singint ko sa kanila.

"What do you mean?" Loki asked nonchalantly, I rolled my eyes. "Oh come on! I heard you talking. Now spill it. I bet you did something stupid again" I guessed and chuckled but they seemed serious. 

"Ares told all the competitors in the Seven Realm Tournament that the winner will get a kiss from you" Kanon said and if I was on level 7/10 the other day, I'm 10000000000/10 today! Why in the world will they say that?! 

"Let me get this straight.. you told THEM that they'll get a KISS from me if they win? Wait, pano ba ang system ng tournament?" 

"Some may be for groups but mostly, its individual. The overall champion, who'll come from their realm will receive a kiss from you. Take note, nagbabase ito individually kaya ang score ay nagbabase din individually. I-cocompile scores ng lahat ng member para makuha ang final" ani Ares at napangiwi ako. 

NO!! Kabaliwan na ata nila kung sa tingin nila ay papayag ako dito, no way! Go and kiss yourselves! But wait.. if Ares wins then, I'll kiss him! He is my brother. "Ares, make sure YOU win" I told him, "Sorry princess but I'm out of that bet because I'm your sister" YOU PURE DEMON! "Fine, I agree to your idiotic plan but.. Oh.. your gonna regret this, I swear." I threatened them and left them.

"Psst. Hey, ayan na siya"

"Damn she is beautiful, I can't wait to win and get that kiss!"

"She looks like a goddess! Damn! I might die"

Oh no. Kanina ay Ok na ako kasi magkakaroon ako ng revenge sa mga kapatid ko, but now? I'm not sure I'm feeling good. 

"Hey there shorty, I can't wait to win later. I'll get that kiss, don't worry" singit ni Ryker at inakbayan ako at kinindatan pa, "I know your set on this prize but I am not letting anyone kiss me!" I hissed at him and hit his shoulder.

"Actually, I agree with Prince Ryker. I think a 'kiss' from the most beautiful maiden will encourage our competitors to have more interest and motive to win, don't you agree Asteria?" how can I say 'No' to my father? "Fine" I replied half-heartedly. 

"Cheer for me Ria, then I'll be sure to get that kiss" Ryker winked as he assembled with the Chivalry Warriors. Dumating naman ang dalawa ko pang kuya at umakyat kami sa VIP seat para mapanood ang lahat.

Ok, I have to confess. During the entire duration of the tournament, I lost focused in watching it because I was very worried about that kiss. I can't believe my own father would agree to that! But then again, doon naging sila nina mommy. Sa tingin ba nila na mahahanap ko ang special someone ko dahil lang dito. I'm not shallow! 

"And for the final round of this competition, this is the battle that we've all been waiting for, Chivalry Warriors versus the Dark Knights!" 

Shoot. Last round na agad? I am so dead. 

So, for this round ay si Ryker mula sa Chivalry Warriors kalaban si Drako mula sa Dark Knights. So far ay si kuya Ares ang nasa lead sa individual scores at nakasunod sa kanya si Ryker then Ace. So the three of them holds the top 3 stands and their from Chivarly, pero ang maganda nga ay lahat ng sa Chivalry Warriors ay pasok pa rin sa top 10. 

"Nagugutom na ko, kakain lang ako doon sa function hall" pagpapaalam ko at um-exit na. I'm sure wala namang mangyayaring kababalaghan kung umalis ako diba?

Well, food is life!

Once I was satisfied, I returned back and everyone was cheering. What just happened? Did I miss something?

"What just happened?" I asked Ares ng mahagilap ko siya.

"We won, as expected. But Ryker won the individuals, which means.. he gets to kiss you. I think he really went all out" Ares said and for a moment there my brain couldn't process anything. Syntax error. 

Then I came back to Earth. 

"Which means.. he gets to kiss you" Kanon and Loki repeated at doon ko lang naintindihan. 

WHAT THE FISH! 

"And the winner for the individuals is.. Prince Ryker Claes of Haven Inferno from Asphere of Astell Academy!"

Goodbye world. I was called in the middle of the arena to give him his prize. A sword and *gulp* that kiss. 

I came down the field and everyone were cheering, I looked at Ryker and he's giving me that devilish smirk that could mean anything for me. I am so dead. Each step feels like I'm carrying the whole world in my shoulders. As much as I don't want to do this, lets just get this over with!

Wala ng patumpik-tumpik pa, hindi ko na hinintay na magsalita si Ryker at kusa na lang na hinalikan siya, hindi sa cheek, basta doon. Alam niyo na yun. He was surprised but then he savored it and after a few seconds I parted and the whole crowd cheered. Gosh! I can't believe I just did that! 

"I liked that.. mind if we do it again?" Ryker said and if it weren't for the crowd here, I would have beaten him up completely. "Shut up" I hissed and then gave him the sword. "I am really falling" here he goes again! I still can't believe he always says that and I would feel something deep down. Something I don't know. Tsk. Maybe training will get my mind off things like this.

After the tournament, I immediately went back to the palace to train. Gosh! This is one heck of a day!
