The moment I met Asteria, I knew then and there that my life was about to change. Hindi ko man napansin na siya ang magpapatibok uli ng puso ko, dahil ang akala ko lang ay magbabago ako sa pamamaraan na magiging matino ako na tao. But no! Nagbago ako dahil nahulog ako sa kanya.
Four years ago, I fell in love with this girl and I thought that everything would be perfect. Sure, people called it puppy love but I called it Love at first sight. She was my everything to me back then. But everything changed when she met my brother, she fell in love with him and she then told me that I was just a friend. Ganon pala kapag ma-friendzoned? Ang hirap malakayo sa kanya kasi minahal ko naman siya at ang hirap maging comfortable sa harap niya kasi ang sakit sobra. She was so close, yet so far away.
But this year? I met Asteria. Naalala ko pa ang araw na iyon as clear as day. Kole and I were flaunting ourselves to the whole school when she was just standing there and I told her to move but she didn't move an inch. The others became scared but she was the first one to stand up to me and shoot me down.
From that day, I knew that she was different.
Because of her unique personality and somehow whenever I get myself involved with her, I found her mysterious. Kaya doon, lagi ko siyang inaasar at as much as possible ay mapalapit sa kanya. Kaya noong nalaman ko na kapatid pala siya ng Astell Trinity at nagiisang anak na babae ni King Rion ay nagulat ako. I then found out her immense power and her skill, I found myself falling for her completely. Not just because of her skill or power, but her everything. Its hard to explain, but I'm sure you already know the feeling when you fall in love.

When she fought with Jerga's reincarnation, Devian. I thought my whole world shattered because yes, she won, but I felt she lost more because she fell down and fainted. My heart cracked when I saw her not waking up. It felt as if I wasn't able to protect her and I felt so useless. I was so stupid! An idiot!
Why am I so weak?!
Why didn't I protect her?!
Bakit wala ako sa tabi niya noong kailangan niya ko?!
Argh! I hate myself. But now, I want to tell her everything because I don't want to loose her again.
"Ano ba iyon Ryker?" she asked and I heaved a sigh. I am really doing this.
"Please, wag ka magsasalita hanggang matapos ako, Ok?" sabi ko sa kanya at tumango naman siya.
Here goes.
"Asteria Voldigoad-Astell.. I love you." I confessed and my heart starts to pump faster. I feel so nervous.
"I'm not really good in expressing myself but I hope this song that I will sing for you changes that and I hope you will know how I really feel about you.." I told her and looked at her beautiful eyes. Her eyes really do tell a story.
