Chapter 3: An Unlikely Reunion

(Time flew by in The Void Realm as Sawano and Xiazress became lovers and Sawano began to learn more about the Realm as Kiri started training to get stronger as well.)
(Sawano stood on the balcony and looked at the repaired Grayfall.)
"Sawano: Back on Earth, everyone would look at me as a weakling. Years in the dojo, leads me to this..?"
"Kiri: Sawano!!"
(Kiri jumps on Sawano's back and hugged him.)
"Sawano: Hey!"
(She'd laugh as she drags Sawano inside.)
"Kiri: Come on! I wanna show you something!"
"Sawano: Ok!"
(Kiri covered his eyes and led him downstairs.)
"Kiri: Ok... Open now!"
(Sawano opens his eyes as he sees a new custom made jacket in front of him.)
"Tadaa!!!"
(Kiri smiled with glee as Sawano was smiling to see the new jacket then he tried it on.)
"Sawano: I love it Kiri..! Thank you..!"
"Kiri: I'm glad you do!"

(Xiazress returned from her general meeting.)
"Xiazress: I'm back."
"Sawano: How did it go?"
"Xiazress: Turns out, we got trouble and they wanted me to send you."
"Sawano: So, who's the target?"
"Xiazress: Faction member of Genocide Blitz, Aribu Seidasu. He kidnapped a council member of the Elemental Division Administration team."
"Sawano: Got the location?"
"Xiazress: West from Grayfall's outskirts, he's hiding him in a subway tunnel at Kioyama station."
"Sawano: Alright, Kiri. I'll be back."
(She smiled and looked at Sawano with the new jacket on.)
"Kiri: Ok!"
(Sawano walked to Xiazress and kissed her goodbye then teleported off.)
"Sawano: Like she said, Kioyama station, In a subway tunnel. If I could just..."
(He'd focus his energy on his right eye as it went full red then he saw the kidnapped council member and Aribu.)
"Found them."
"Aribu: I'm going to ask you this question again. Where can I find the access codes to the Elemental Division?"

"Council Member: I'm not telling you anything..!"
"Aribu: Are you sure you won't tell me?"
(He'd tighten a cloth around the council member's mouth and grab his machete then he'd start screaming with the cloth still on his mouth.)
"You see, I always get the answers. And since you won't tell me..? I'll have to MAKE YOU TELL ME!"
(Sawano vanishes quickly as a fast moving figure down the subway tunnel as Aribu quickly looked.)
"WHAT WAS THAT?"
(He'd appear leaning on the wall.)
"WHO ARE YOU?!"
"Sawano: Me? I got orders to assassinate you and bring that fellow back with me."
(The council member praised him as he remained in a muffled state.)
"Aribu: YOU CAN'T STOP ME!"
(He appears behind him instantly as Aribu stands there paralyzed from the neck down.)
"WHAT THE..?!?"
"Sawano: Shhh.. relax. All I did was paralyze you with one glimpse of my red and black eye."
"Aribu: YOU SON OF A-"
(Sawano decapitates him instantly then Aribu's headless body fell to the ground.)

(Sawano unties the council member and leads him back up to the surface.)
"Council Member: I honestly cannot thank you enough for saving me.."
"Sawano: My job's an assassin, you're pretty lucky they sent me for you."
"Council Member: An assassin..?"
"Sawano: Yup, name's Sawano. Yours?"
"Kenneth: My name is Kenneth!"
"Sawano: Nice to meet you Kenneth."
(Sawano would teleport them both back to Earth and in front of the council's office then follows Kenneth back to the floor.)
(After so, Kenneth opens the main conference room doors.)
"Everyone: Kenneth!"
"Kenneth: Sawano brought me back and killed Aribu."
"Elemental Divison Leader: I know its pretty weird for us to call in a busy assassin like you. As promised, here's the payment."
"Sawano: I thank you."
(As Sawano grabbed the payment and began to leave, he wa stopped for a moment.)
"Elemental Division Leader: Before you go, we want to ask you one question. Have you ever considered working as an elemental fighter?"

"Sawano: I have given that time to think about, I was a student. Not a fighter."
"Elemental Division Leader: I see, right now, if you did join the division, you'd have to start from the very bottom as a one star then rise to the top depending on the series of monsters you'd defeat.""
"Sawano: Very well, I guess I'll give it a try."
"Interviewer: Before we let you go, we'll have to ask you some questions then have you complete a series of tests. Once said and done, complete this form and you'll be an official fighter to the division."
(After a while, Sawano left with his official certificate.)
"Sawano: So, I'm star one, ranked one thousand nine hundred thirty eight. That's a shame.."
(As he kept walking his eyes was covered by Kira.)
"Kira: Guess who!!"
"Sawano" Huh? Who the hell even are you?!"
"Kira: Aw that's so mean! How do you not know Kira?"
"Sawano: Kira?"
"Kira: YOU REALLY DON'T KNOW THE GODDESS, KIRA?!"
"Sawano: Never heard of you."
(He'd walk off as Kira followed him.)
"Kira: But she is Kira, the Goddess Of Creation!"
