Two days later Cassie has a nightmare where she's killing Jake.
Later that day Adam shows up at the blonde girl's house, and she tells him about her father's lineage, and how his bloodline passes dark magic from generation to generation.
Adam tells her to ask the Meade twins but Cassie refuses, and they agree not to say anything about the dark magic.

At the Meade residence there's a knock on the door.
Diana reaches the door first and opens it seeing an older woman standing there, "Gramma Kate!", the older twin greets first with the youngest saying, "Gramma!"
They both bring their grandmother into a hug. "Oh, my darling, twins." Diana grins, "Come in."
Evie asks, "Are you staying?" "Well, just for a couple of nights. If you'll have me."
"Of course.", the twins say simultaneously.
"Do you think your father will mind? You know, he's been so busy lately, my maternal instincts are on high alert." Diana and Evie smile, "He's fine. In fact..." "He's dating."
"Who's the lucky girl?"
Evie smiles, "Dawn Chamberlain."
"Really? Well, it's high school all over again. He has always had a crush on her."
Charles walks into the room "A crush? On who?"
The twins share a look and simultaneously say, "Mrs. Chamberlain." with Diana continuing, "We were just telling gramma that you two are Chance Harbor's new power couple."
"Wow. It's an honor just to be nominated. Especially by such authorities on power couples."
They all smile and Evie says, "We are gonna go get ready for school. We are so happy you're here." "Me too." The twins hug Kate again and head upstairs to get ready.
Once the girls are out of hearing distance Kate looks at her son and says, "Diana and Adam broke up. So did Evie and Jason." "They did?" "They emailed me last week. That's partly why I'm here. I want to make sure they're all right. Girls don't tell their fathers these things, Charles." "Well, I'm glad that they can tell you."

Later that day at school Faye goes up to Melissa and convinces her that she knows a way to get their solo magic back.
Meanwhile, Kate goes up to Dawn Chamberlain and accuses her of having something to do with Henry's death and Jane's neurological problems.
After school Diana and Evie go to the abandoned house and they see Adam reading something on line. Diana goes up to him and says, "A little light reading?"
Evie notices what was on the screen and asks, "What was that?" Adam didn't notice the girls and is startled by their presence, and he quickly closes his computer. "Nothing."
