Saturday 31st October- Show Day

"Oo different kind of hairstyle." I noticed as I wandered into our dressing room, seeing Harvey in the chair, stylist Georgia with a hairdryer and brush.

"Going to the side, I think it's going to look so handsome."

"Thank you." He replied with uncertainty.

"You're not convinced yet?" I asked.

"We'll see."

"Look at my partner." I beamed, the outfits had come together perfectly along with the hairstyles and makeup, "Do you love it?"

"I love it, I've never worn anything like this in my life, or had my hair like this ever, it's definitely different." He wore a green suit, his hair combed to the side.

"I mean, look at this together." I stated.

"Your dress is absolutely unreal." He complemented.

"Isn't it." I smiled looking down at the finer detail. It was sort of like a nudey, light brown colour with sparkly sequins and gemstones on the top, while a floral pattern on the skirt.

We were doing touch ups, me chucking on my dressing gown whilst we waited.

"Your mum's actually too cute." She had made us t-shirts with a picture of us on the front, it ready 'Hrvy & Ellie' beneath, and on the back displaying the words - 'My Strictly Winners 2020.'

She didn't just make one for herself, she made one for my mum which was so thoughtful of her to do.
Not only that, she'd sent us some amazing cupcakes, the two in the middle with a H and E in icing on the top, her telling us specifically those were for us two.

Later on

Everything was put together, touch ups on makeup had been done, we were back in our outfits.

"You look very lovely and then,"

"You look amazing." I happily completed for him.

"I can't wait, Romeo and Juliet."

"Romeo and Juliet." He repeated.

It was showtime!

We heard Tess and Claudia announce the judges, followed by "our strictly stars."

"Let's go." I told him, the biggest smile on my face as it was our turn to step out. We waved, as our names got called out, us then making our way down the stairs.

"So let's remind ourselves how the leaderboard looks - up at the top are Harvey and Ellie with 25," I looked up as Claudia spoke, him winking at me with a smirk as we listened.

"The two couples with the lowest combined judge's scores and viewer votes will go head to head in our first dance off on Sunday night." C went on to explain.

"And the first couple dancing for your votes, with the Jive, is Max George and his partner Dianne." Everyone cheered, that being our cue to all go over to our seats at the side as their video played.

It was such a lovely fun-filled dance to watch, along with having a catchy song like I'm A Believer playing, it was hard not to sing along.

Clara and Alijaž did their Viennese Waltz, with the wardrobe malfunction, which whenever I see something go wrong like that it genuinely breaks my heart because it does put you off, you think and worry about it the whole time meaning you don't perform as well even though it's not your fault, but it does happen and that's just life.
