🍢-Part 14

Taehyung's POV:
i already told jennie that i found him. she said she was gonna visit us tomorrow.
i don't know what i should do now. i need to prove my love for jeongguk. but how? should i like act overly kind? maybe.. make him breakfast every morning? nah that's too basic. tell him i love him a lot? no no. ahhh what should i doooo! i'm out of ideas.. maybe i should ask jennie for help. yea, i will.

~the next day~

me and jeongguk were having breakfast. i made some pancakes, his favorite. i didn't have the appetite to eat, seeing him eat was enough to brighten my day. "why aren't you eating..?" he asked me as he noticed me staring at him, "hm? oh- i-i'm already full, don't worry" i gave a slight smile. he looked at me worriedly "but you didn't eat anything. how are you suddenly full? you need to eat."

Jeongguk's POV:
it made me really worried. he wasn't eating. is he okay? is he sad? i'm worried to death.. "hey, are you alright?" i asked, looking straight into his eyes, "i'm fine, why wouldn't i be? don't worry gguk." he gave me his sweet warm smile. me on the other hand, i was looking at him in fear, 'did i do something?' i kept thinking..

later, we heard the door bell ring, "i'll go get it" he said quickly before heading to the front door and opening it. there stood jennie, with worried eyes, she ran to me and hugged me tightly "jeongguk!! oh my god you're finally home. you had us worried sick! where have you been huh? did you eat something? are you feeling alright?" she asked like 10 questions nonstop. i chuckled slightly before speaking up "heyyy calm down! i'm really fine, don't worry.!" she looked at me and said "don't you dare do that again gguk, understood?", i nodded. were they that worried?

~time skip: lunch time~
"what do you guys want for lunch?" tae asked both of us. "can i make lunch today??" i offered, i really wanted to tho. he chuckled and looked at me "sure bunny~" i blushed slightly. "can i join you?" he then asked cutely, i nodded in response. i really wanted to forgive him and give him another chance.. i'll wait.
"alright thennnn, i'll just chill here until y'all are done okay?" jennie added cheerfully. we all chuckled, then jennie took out her phone and lied on the couch playing with her hair, while me and tae started making food.

while we were cooking, tae would keep tickling me cause he knew i was really ticklish, so he took his opportunity. we would also play around with flour like little kids. it brought back so many memories, i felt safe and.. happy?

we finally made it. tteokbokki. one of my favorite korean dishes. it's literally delicious *chef's kiss*
"JENNIE" i shouted for her, she came running right after. "uff i'm so hungry you guys are finally done~ wait-" her eyes lightened up so suddenly, "OH MY GOD TTEOKBOKKI I LOVE IT OH MY GOD IT'S THE BEST OH M-"
"HEYY!! calm the heck down, damn" taehyung cut her off. ouch. "yah! let me have my moment! you really needed to ruin it. meanie." she talked back crossing her arms, giving a cute pout. wow.
"whatever, let's just eat now, you just said you were hungry didn't you?"
"fine." she rolled her eyes back playfully, before taking a seat at the dining table.

jennie took the first bite and widened her eyes "who made this??"
"uhm- jeongguk did the most things." tae answered.
"I KNEW IT!! cause if tae did it, it would taste horrible."
"exCUSE ME?!"
"i'm just spitting facts. remember that one time you tried to make tteokbokki?! you deadass burnt it"
i was trying so hard not to laugh. he BURNT it??
"yahhh, come on! at least i can make pancakes!"
"yeah, surprisingly."
"shut up!"
"chile" she continued eating like nothing happened. while on the other hand, i failed to control my laughter. i bursted out like i lost my mind or something. "why are you laughing??" tae asked immediately, "i-i'm imagining you b-burning the food-" i said between my laughter, i wasn't even able to talk dammit. i was holding my stomach while taehyung was looking at me in betrayal, and jennie was just chuckling. "YAH- how could you do me like that?!" he playfully yelled at me, "sORRY" i took a last deep breath then calmed down. "oof, okay. let's eat now." i finally started eating along with taehyung.

i loved how we spent our time and had fun today. it was really nice to be honest. like damn i haven't felt like that in two months-.. almost.

3rd person POV:
the three of them had much fun that day and had a happy time together.
in the evening, they were sitting on the couches in the living, talking about random things. "just a minute, i gotta use the bathroom, be right back!" jeongguk excused himself and left. taehyung then took the chance to finally ask jennie, "hey jen," she looked him and replied, "hm?"
"can you help me with something?"
"sure, what is it?"

"i-i.. need to prove my love for jeongguk.. i have to do anything to make him believe in me again and forgive me. but i really have no idea how to do so.. do you maybe have any advices-?" he hesitantly confessed.
jennie sighed and gave a smile, then told him this, "listen, you have to prove your love by doing something- like, take him on dates often, maybe also cuddle him a lot, sing him to sleep. let him gain your trust again, try to ask him how he's feeling, is he happy or sad? scared or safe? does he feel better than before or not? and try to help him by that. you know what i mean right? show him that you really care and worry about his mental health. forget everyone and focus on him. let him take your whole time and thoughts, show him that he's the only one in your heart."
"omg- thank you a lot, i will start by tomorrow then!"
she chuckled, "you're welcome~"

luckily, they finished talking before jeongguk came back.
after the talk, and after the youngest rejoined them, they watched a netflix movie and had some popcorn.
basically: netflix & chill.

taehyung's hopes were high by the start he was about to go further with the day after. he was looking forward to it, and believed it might be the solution. it simply made sense actually.

he was hoping he could make it. jennie was hoping that as well. they both were praying for things to turn out the way the want it to.
jeongguk was now everything taehyung was asking for. just for jeongguk to be his. again. and this time forever.
