"Hey Bakugou!" Odori, a short, sandy-blond haired girl, shouted over her shoulder. She got up from her small friend group and ran over to the spiky haired boy. "Wait, where's Midoriya?" She asked looking around. "Oh, I don't know. Probably doing what I told him to do." Bakugou said, chuckling lightly. "Wait, what?" Odori looked up at him confused. "Oh nothing, just told him to take a dive off the roof." He smirked. "Bakugou! That's terrible! You're going to apologize." Bakugou laughed. "Over my dead body!" he replied confidently. I can't beat him in a fight, so I could... Odori thought. "If you don't, I will tell Inko that you've been bullying Midoriya." Bakugou looked down at her and thought, then glared at her. "I swear I would kill you if you did that." He said through his teeth. She laughed at the statement and smiled a sly smile. "I doubt it!" He growled and thought a minute longer, then let out a long sigh. "Fine! But only because Auntie would probably kill me." She gave him a proud smile and walked over to her best friend Maire. "Maire I am going to go do something with Bakugou, I will be right back!" "Okay, I'll wait down here." Maire replied, smiling brightly. Odori reciprocated Maire's smile with her own and started to walk back over to Bakugou and pushed him in the direction of the school building. She stopped at the entrance. "Hey Maki," she said as a tall, black-haired boy approached her. "Oh, hey Odori." Maki replied, grinning brightly. "Do you know where Midoriya is?" Odori asked. "Sure! He's up on the roof, he seemed pretty down though." Maki replied in a worried but optimistic tone. Odori looked at Bakugou with a slight annoyance. "Thanks Maki. Let's go Bakugou." She walked past Maki and into the building, pulling Bakugou by his wrist. The two kids ran up the stairs, and Odori pushed open the door to the roof. "Go!" Odori said while pushing Bakugou through the door. "I'm going!" He said through his teeth in a frustrated tone. He looked up and saw Deku standing at the edge of the roof, looking down at the group of people below. Odori started back down the stairs feeling proud when Bakugou said Midoriya's name in a worrying voice. "D-Deku?" Bakugou managed to say as shock and fear filled his body. Upon hearing this, Odori stopped in her tracks and ran back up the stairs. "Bakugou what's wro..." She opened the door and saw Bakugou barely inching towards Midoriya, standing right at the edge. "Deku! What the hell are you doing?!" Bakugou yelled as shock and worry filled his voice. Deku turned around to face Bakugou and Odori, fear filling his head as he heard his old friend's voice. Upon looking into Deku's eyes, Bakugou immediately saw the sadness and pain in them. "Goodbye Kacchan." he said in a voice that Bakugou didn't recognize. "Midoriya no!" Odori ran over to him, but it was too late. Deku stepped backwards and fell off of the rooftop to the ground below. Maire had been talking and laughing with her friends when one of them saw Deku standing on the roof and recognized him. "Isn't that Midoriya?" they questioned. Upon hearing her friend's name, Maire looked up at the roof, watching Deku step backwards and fall towards the ground. Words could not describe the shock and pain that she felt when he hit the pavement. "Deku?" Maire said as she ran over to him. His head started to bleed as he winced from the painful impact, blood now escaping from large injuries on his back. Maire fell to her knees, her body unable to bear the sudden surge of emotions coursing through her veins. Deku's bright green eyes started to slowly shift towards Maire as his breath began to hitch. Deku looked into her eyes as a sad expression drifted onto his face. "I'm s-sorry that y-you had to s-see this M-Maire-chan" Deku said as he looked into his friend's eyes while it became harder for him to breathe. "Don't be sorry Deku, just, stay alive for me." Maire replied, lightly brushing a piece of his green hair away from his eyes as her tears began to flow. Deku was fading quickly, his heartbeat slowing and his energy levels dropping dangerously low. He used the little energy he had to lift his hand and gently caress Maire's cheek, making her gaze shift towards it. Maire held his hand to her cheek, feeling it's warmth slowly dissipating. I have to tell her, before it's too late he thought as his own tears began to flow. With one hand on her cheek, he used his other hand to grasp Maire's free hand, squeezed it gently, and said "I l-love you, M-Maire-ch......". Deku's body went limp as his last breath left his lungs, his grip on her hand dissipated as it relaxed, the sparkle in his eyes disappearing forever. "Deku? Deku wake up." Maire spoke as her tears flowed down her cheeks. "Wake up Deku!! Don't leave me! You can't leave me!!" Maire said as her breath grew shaky and her throat began to sting. "Deku!!!" Maire screamed, sobbing into Deku's chest. One of her friends pulled out her phone and called the hospital, but they were too late. Deku was gone, and he wasn't coming back.
