It had been about a month since the capture of the once unnamed villain, and everyone had gone through a lot. Odori's cut was deep, the doctor told Bakugou that it would take months to heal fully. After about a week she could walk, and she kept telling Maire and Bakugou that she could do the interrogation, saying "I can do it now, I can walk without my back hurting." She repeated this every day, but they kept telling her to wait a little longer. "You know what, I am tired of hearing, 'One more day' we are doing the interrogation today! I don't care what you two say." Odori announced, frustrated and angry. "Okay, okay Odori," Bakugou said, laughing as he walked out of the room. She looked so frustrated, and it was way too obvious. "Odori, Bakugou, and I already decided to let you do the interrogation." Maire said, pinching her nose and chuckling. "Wait really?" Odori said, her eyes sparkling. Maire and Bakugou tried to hold in their laughter, as not to upset the injured girl anymore. It was honestly the first time she had laughed or smiled in a few days, not being able to move too much, staying inside, and stretching therapy didn't help her that much mentally. "Well, are we going to get on the road anytime soon?" Odori asked in excitement. Maire couldn't help but laugh. "We're going to eat first." Bakugou said bringing in some food in a plastic bag, and two other bags for Maire and him. "Then we'll go." Odori said, snatching the bag right out of his hand almost instantly. "Did you get my favorite?" Odori said, smiling at Bakugou and Maire. "Yep, it was mostly Bakugou's idea though. He said you really missed going and getting food from restaurants, so we went and got you some rice and sushi." Maire said with a smile on her face. There was a period of still silence, and then Maire's eyes suddenly widened as she realized something. "Shoot! I have to give Deku some food. I'll be back to pick you guys up in a few minutes, bye!" Maire said. Odori and Bakugou laughed as Maire got up and ran out of the door. "I hope that she never stops being a dork." said Bakugou laughing. "Me too." Odori replied, chuckling.
Maire came back about 30 minutes later, finding Bakugou and Odori waiting on a bench in front of the hospital. "Finally, it felt like forever!" Odori whined. "You're so childish, can't you act your age for five freaking minutes?" Bakugou said gruffly, opening the door to the car and helping Odori into it. "Thanks Bakugou. Maire, I am actually super excited for this." Odori said, clapping her hands like a little kid. Bakugou and Maire couldn't hold in their laughter for any longer. "Odori, you really are just a kid in an adult's body." Maire said, pulling out of the hospital parking lot and wiping tears of joy from her eyes. Odori made a proud face. "And proud!"
