"Hey Deku?" Bakugou asked gruffly, gaining Midoriya's attention. "Yeah?" Midoriya replied curiously, turning his head towards Bakugou. "Why did you stay with the villains till now?" Bakugou questioned. "I couldn't come home. Trust me, I would if I could." Midoriya answered, his body tensing up a little. "Why did you hurt Odori then?! If you care so much about us, then why did you hurt her." Bakugou spoke, his voice growing harsh. "Because if I didn't hurt her then the League would've realized that I never truly wanted to be a villain and they would've killed you guys!" Midoriya spoke, a pain present in his eyes. Bakugou was surprised by his sudden change in demeanor, looking at the ground. He didn't think that Midoriya meant it when he said that he was willing to risk his life for others, but he was reminded of that. "Thanks, I guess" Bakugou said gruffly, staring at his feet. Midoriya's expression immediately softened as a big smile drifted onto his face. "No problem Kacchan. You're my friend, and I promised to protect my friends." He said cheerfully. The smile on his face lit up the room, making lost hope come back to life, a smile that made everything seem okay again. When Bakugou looked up, he saw the smile shining on Midoriya's face, and he couldn't help but smile back, even if it was for just a moment. As quick as the smile showed, it disappeared, as if his self pride wouldn't let such a weakling emotion show. Then Midoriya felt it, a ticklish feeling that traveled from his head to his feet. It kinda reminded him of earlier when Maire activated her quirk.... "Wait, the last time I felt the ticklish feeling was when Maire activated her quirk!" Midoriya thought, a sudden realization coming over him. "Maire and Odori are in trouble." Midoriya said, worry filling his eyes. "What?!" Bakugou responded in disbelief, being pulled from his thoughts. "We have to go, now!" Midoriya said. He went to grab his weapons to defend himself in the case of a battle when Bakugou stopped him. "What the hell are you doing!" He shouted. "Didn't you hear me. I said Odori and Maire are in danger!" Midoriya growled. His sudden change in attitude changed something in Bakugou. "They're actually in trouble, you're not joking about this." Bakugou said, his tone was gruff, but softer, as if he was scared. "No, I wouldn't joke about that." Midoriya said, grabbing his weapons and walking down the hall. "Are you coming or not." Midoriya said, turning his head slightly. Bakugou grabbed his gauntlets, slipping them on his arms and buckling them in place. "Hell yeah I'm coming." Bakugou said, smirking. Midoriya smiled back. "Then let's go." He said. Bakugou ran up right behind Midoriya. "Let's hurry." He said walking at a faster pace than his green haired friend. Midoriya and Bakugou both heard a sound coming from the room right next to them. Something was slammed up against the wall, then heard a familiar voice wincing in pain. "Gah! My back!" It was Odori. "How do we get into there?" Midoriya asked, trying to find a door. "I can't remember." Bakugou said, his mind raced with ideas. Only one felt like it would work. He held his gauntlet up to fire right at the wall. "Stand back!" He shouted. He pulled the pin right out and a huge explosion shot through the wall, sheetrock flying everywhere. The smoke covered everything and it took a while to clear up even a little bit. In the smoke he saw something, it was faint but he knew when he saw it. It was a bright burning flame, a blue flame. He looked over his surroundings and down on the ground he saw Odori, burnt and injured, her hero suit completely ruined. "Flame!" He shouted, running over to her to see if she was still alive. Then another shape appeared sitting next to her body. "Wow she's really pretty!" Toga said looking down at her. "Get away from her!" He shouted. Toga looked up at him. "Oh, so this is your boyfriend, right?" Toga said, looking from Odori to Bakugou, then back at Odori. Odori pursed her lips, she wouldn't say a word. Toga frowned, then the smile came back to her. "You know, she is really cute, but I bet she's even cuter when she's bleeding." She said, pulling out a knife from her pocket. Bakugou was about to fire another one of his blasts when Deku jumped in front of him, holding his own knife in his hand. "If you even think about laying a finger on them, I will not hesitate to kill you." He said with an evil look in his eyes that could've scared a grown adult into obedience. Toga's eyes widened as she saw Deku. "Izu-kun, what are you doing here?" She asked, her expression suddenly saddening. "I will blast you all the way to hell if you don't move now!!" Bakugou yelled. Deku tried to walk away and find Maire, but his feet wouldn't move. "Where is Maire?" He asked Toga. "I don't know... Odori-chan, do you know?" Toga looked down at Odori again and held up the knife. "Deku, she was with me, but when we saw the villains she ran to the room you guys were in, they were headed right for you." Odori directed her gaze towards Bakugou and he looked at her, feeling sad and helpless. He could only stand there pointing his palm right at Deku. "Go help her!" Bakugou commanded. When Deku didn't move, Bakugou became impatient. "Get the hell out of my way!" He yelled. He watched as Odori tried to back away from Toga but she was too hurt to move. Bakugou put his hand down and started to walk over to Midoriya when a hand touched his shoulder, fire biting his now exposed skin. He cried out in pain then turned his head slightly, sending a punch through the air. Dabi dodged the hit so smoothly, it was impressive. While Bakugou was losing his temper, Dabi was staying calm and collected. He kept dodging, avoiding other explosions from Bakugou. Dabi kicked the joint in his knees from behind, sending Bakugou face first into the floor. "Please, that was too easy." Dabi said, laughing at Bakugou who was wincing in pain. He put his foot on Bakugou's back, putting as much pressure on it as he could, and slammed Bakugou's body against the ground, foot still planted firmly on his back, preventing him from standing up. "Go Deku!! Save your damn girlfriend before they kill her!" Bakugou yelled, grunting in pain as Dabi pressed down harder, making it almost impossible to breathe. Deku's feet started moving on their own, as he ran down the hall and towards Maire. He ran faster than he had ever ran before. He had to save Maire, even if it cost him his life.
