Odori stopped, feeling her own tears rolling down her face. "B- Bakugou..." Odori stuttered on her words, she was speechless. She stepped back away from the edge of the roof and bumped into Bakugou, turning around she hugged him so tight she could hear his heartbeat. It was slow and quiet, she knew how scared he really was no matter how hard he tried to hide it. He wrapped his arms around her and rested his chin on her head. He rocked her back and forth trying his best to comfort himself and the blond in his arms. "Who's gonna tell Inko?" Odori finally asked, after a long moment of silence. "I- I..." Bakugou's voice trailed off. He was dumbfounded, unlike the rest of the kids crowding around Maire and Deku. "I have to." Bakugou finally said, pushing Odori away. "B-Bakugou, are you sure?" She asked as he began walking back to the door. "This was all my fault, I have to." He looked back at Odori, looking over the edge of the building, and held his breath. How do I tell Auntie? He thought to himself. He had to tell her one way or another, before it made it to the news. After school Bakugou was in his room, pacing the floor. I can't do this, at least not alone... Maybe I could call someone? Yeah, yeah that's what I'll do. He pulled out his phone from his back pocket and looked over the numbers. I could call... no no. He kept scrolling down the screen. I could ask... Odori. He forced himself to press the call button and held the device up to his ear while it rang. He felt the disappointment fill his mind as the phone continued ringing. Finally, the answering machine started to play the recording. "Damnet... shortstack I need you to pick up the phone... if you're there. Don't you dare make me beg." He heard a beep come from the other side of the line. "Hey, is this actually Bakugou?" "Oh hey, I need you to meet me at Auntie Inko's house, okay? It's important." "Oh... oh no." Bakugou held his breath, Please say yes, I can't do this alone. "Okay, when?" Bakugou gave a relieved sigh. "Now!" Bakugou shouted. "Okay! I will meet you there mister shouty shout." She hissed. He hung up the phone, grabbed a jacket and walked to the door. "I'm going." He shouted through the house then walked out. As he was walking up to the doorstep of Inko's house, he saw Odori sitting on the steps waiting for him. "There you are. Why did you call me to do this?" She said, wiping tears away with her sleeve. He put out his hand and helped her stand up, "I don't do well with crying, okay, your friends with everyone and you know how to deal with that kinda stuff." He walked past her and rang the doorbell. Inko almost immediately opened the door. "Katsuki, and Odori! Please come in, come in!" "Hi-ya Inko!" Odori smiled a forced smile. Inko smiled right back at her and moved so they could come in. "And to what do I owe the pleasure of having you two over?" Odori looked at Bakugou worried. "Auntie... you should sit down." He said surprisingly politely. She did as she was told and sat on a couch, and Bakugou sat in a seat across from her. "Is something wrong Katsuki?" Odori went and sat on the couch next to Bakugou and leaned forward hoping he wouldn't want her to say anything. "We have something to tell you... I need you not to overreact though." He said avoiding eye contact. "Wait first, do you know where Izuku is? I haven't talked to him since this morning." " This is going to be hard, but...Izuku..." "He jumped off the school roof." Bakugou said, his voice quiet and raspy. Silence fell over the room. "It was all my fault Auntie, I told him to do it, I can't go on like this, I have to tell someone. I told him to jump, I ended his life... I am so sorry Auntie... I- I" "Is this some kind of joke? Because if it is, Katsuki, it's not very funny." Tears started to glaze Inko's bright green eyes. "It's just a cruel joke... right?" He shook his head. She searched his eyes and saw pain. Something she had been seeing in his eyes the entire time she knew him, but this time it was deep pain. She looked at Odori, eyes asking if it was true. Odori nodded. "I- we tried to stop him, but it was too late. I am so sorry Inko." "Odori dear, can you get me some water?" Inko asked politely, trying to come to terms with what she heard. Odori nodded her head, then ran into the kitchen for a glass of water. "I... I don't know what to say... my little hero can't be gone." Bakugou slowly walked over to Inko and sat down next to her. "I am sorry it's all my fault Auntie, I didn't mean anything I said-" Inko enveloped Bakugou in a tight embrace, cutting him off. "It's okay... you just need to think about your words before you say them." She said crying silently. "I got you water Inko." Odori handed her some water. "Thank you dear." She smiled a forced smile, but it was beautiful all the same. "Inko... how are you?" Odori asked, sitting on Inko's other side. "I don't really know... I can't believe my Izuku is actually..." She choked. "I can't believe my baby's gone." She cried. Odori patted Inko's back. "I am so sorry Inko... how about me and Bakugou stay here for the night to help you. We will make breakfast, dinner, and everything." Odori suggested. "I- I would like that." She said with her beautiful, but sad smile again. "What can I do right now Odori?" Bakugou asked. "Go start making dinner, Inko I am going to go make something special for you, okay?" "Alright." Inko replied. The two kids went and made dinner. Odori made some homemade brownies for her and they all talked about the great memories they had of Izuku Midoriya. Bakugou and Odori stayed the night at Inko's house, both sleeping on one of the couches in the living room. "I am worried about Inko." Odori said, finally setting her phone down on the desk next to her. "Yeah, me too." Bakugou mumbled, rolling over to face Odori. "I'm sure she'll be fine eventually." He said, trying to keep things positive. "She's one tough cookie after all." Odori pulled out her phone again and opened her gallery. "I miss him..." She whispered to herself, staring at a picture of her, Bakugou, Deku, and Maire, the happy memories replaying in her head. "Huh?" Bakugou lifted up his head. "Nothing, I... I just miss him, you know." She said, holding back all the emotions stirring within her. Bakugou nodded respectfully. "Yeah..." Bakugou said, looking at the ground. "Good night Bakugou." Odori said, setting her phone down on the coffee table between the two couches and rolled over. "Good night shortstop." He mumbled before closing his eyes and falling into a deep sleep. Odori couldn't fall asleep at all. She was too worried about Inko, Bakugou, and Maire... but most of all, herself.
