While the kids grew, so did their determination to become heroes. They eventually made it all the way through highschool and became pro-heroes. Some of them became partners, and others went on different paths. Maire, Odori, and Bakugou all stayed close, eventually starting their own hero agency together. Maire became a pro, but also became a police officer. Her parents were police officers and she felt that was the best application of her quirk and experience. Odori and Maire decided to team up and get missions completed together. A lot of the time Bakugou would come and do missions with the agency, and make sure that the girls weren't, as he would say, "screwing things up around there". Usually their missions succeeded without a hitch, but this one was different. "There's been a villain sighting on Ito street." Odori said, walking into their conference room, pointed up to the screen with a baton. "Maire, Bakugou, I think we have a problem. That unknown villain is back in town." She walked up to Maire sitting in one of the chairs. "Lemme see." Maire spoke, slowly reaching up and taking the tablet from Odori's hands. She pressed play on a video that showed a man surrounded by smoke and fire. The man looked right at the camera with his glowing green eyes and then the video cut. "Oh great, this guy again. Well at least we have a better picture of what he looks like." Odori said as she rewinded the video and zoomed in. "Bakugou, take notes," She slid a notepad and pen over to Bakugou who was sitting across the table. "Shorter than most men, green and black-ish hair, always wears a tuxedo in every sighting, and always leaves his knife at the scene of any murder, but hardly ever kills. We've never picked up a fingerprint, he always wears gloves. Lastly, we never had a sign of who this guy may be." Bakugou grabbed the pen and jotted down everything Odori said. "Wait..." Maire interjected "Is that a test tube in his hand?" Odori zoomed in further, revealing a long glass test tube with a thick black fluid in it. "What the hell would he need that for?" Bakugou asked curiously. "Bakugou, that's not really important right now, and I'm sure it's nothing." Odori said dismissively. "So, we have a profile, an appearance, but no name." Bakugou said frustrated. "Exactly. So our main goal here is capture him, we will not only get his name, but the rest of the info about the League of Villains as well." Odori slammed her fist on the table. "But he never stops moving. I've been in a battle with him, and he's too smart to be caught." She sat down in the chair, feeling utterly powerless. How are we going to do this? ... How are we supposed to do this? The two questions never stopped ringing in Odori's head. "We can and will capture this guy. We've done it before." Bakugou said encouragingly, looking Odori dead in the eyes. "He's different, he's smarter than the others we caught." Maire said. Odori fell back in her chair. "Maire's right, there's no way we can get this guy.'' She said disappointingly. "This is so damn frustrating, you don't even know." Odori remarked, slapping the table. Maire grabbed Odori's hand and squeezed it, making Odori look at her. "Odori we will fix this, one slip two months ago isn't going to affect the next mission." Maire said confidently. Odori looked down at her scarred hand. Dabi and the 'unknown villain' got her in a corner, just two months ago. It wasn't that bad of a wound, but it cut deep emotionally. "Just take it easy with your hand Odori. You know that you can't injure it again" Maire said. "I will, don't worry." Odori replied, taking Maire's hand and squeezing it gently. Maire reciprocated her move and looked at the picture of their target. "Flame, you and Dynamight need to capture him. I'm not good with fighting, so I'll stay here to run communications." Maire spoke authoritatively. She gave the two heroes earpieces and ordered them to put them in. "Be careful you two, and let me know if you need backup." Maire ordered. "We will blondie." Bakugou replied playfully, ruffling Maire's hair. Maire chuckled before brushing his hand away. "No pressure, but there is no room for error in this here" Maire said. "Now go get ready, it's almost time for you to head out." Maire ordered them. Bakugou raised an eyebrow at Maire and was about to speak when Odori slapped her hand over his mouth and pulled him towards the changing rooms. Maire chuckled lightly as she watched Bakugou protest while Odori pulled him away. When the two heroes disappeared into their separate changing rooms, Maire walked towards the communication center and connected their ear pieces to the monitors. 10 minutes later, Bakugou and Odori approached the door leading to the outside. Maire met them there for a final goodbye, giving Odori and Bakugou the biggest hugs. "Be careful you two, and remember, our mission is to capture the unknown villain. Nothing more, and nothing less." Maire said reassuringly. Odori smiled at her, giving her one final hug and then walking out of the door. Maire pulled Bakugou aside before he could follow his teammate and gave him one final instruction. "If things get bad out there, call me immediately, don't hesitate. Keep the villain alive, and don't die on the way, please. I can't lose anyone else." Maire said, looking into Bakugou's eyes. It was obvious that she was worried, her sapphire blue eyes were filled with worry. He smiled gently. "I won't, and I promise to protect Odori." Bakugou replied confidently. Maire smiled then let Bakugou leave. *Odori to HQ, how are we doing?* the radio sounded. "Hey Odori, you look good from here," Maire responded, checking the tracker she placed on their target. *Okay good. Wait, where's Bakugou?* Odori said through her ear piece in a worried tone. *I'm right behind you shortstack* Bakugou responded in his earpiece. *How many times do I have to tell you? Don't. Call. Me. THAT!! * Bakugou chuckled at the statement. "Alright I think the alleyway is just up ahead, just a few more blocks." Maire informed them. "Stay quiet. He's not that far away from you, don't let him get away." Maire spoke. "Okay, Bakugou there is another side to the alley, you go around so we can corner him if he is in there." Odori ordered, pointing around the block. "And be quiet." If we- if I let him get away again, I am never going to forgive myself. She rounded the corner, staying against the wall. "Alright Dekiru we are in position, Dynamight you there?" "Hear you loud and clear." He said quietly. "What's our next move?" She crouched down and peaked around the corner. "Do we go straight in or keep up the stealth?" Silence fell over the group. "Straight in?" Bakugou suggested. "Yeah, straight in, good idea Dynamight. Alright move in on three?" Odori whispered into her mic. "Okay, ready?" Bakugou whispered back. "Ready." Odori took a deep breath. "One... two..." Bakugou counted down, positioning for a perfect jump from the wall right onto the villain. "Three!" He took the jump, Odori took the turn and stuck her hand out to use her quirk. He was gone? She looked up and saw Bakugou chasing him up one of the pipes hanging unto the building next to them. "Damnit!" She used her hands and shot fire to the ground, launching her up above Bakugou. "We can't let him get away!" She shouted as she did a somersault onto the roof, Bakugou close behind. She took a moment to see where the villain had gone, then darted. "I'm right behind you!" Bakugou shouted. She saw the villain jump down into another alleyway, and stayed almost right behind him. She jumped down into the alleyway, there was a tall wire fence as the only way out, you'd either have to climb it or go through the padlocked door. She saw Bakugou fall out of the night sky right behind the unknown villain, silently to get a sneak attack. "It's over, villain." Odori announced, shaking a little while catching her breath. "Oh Odori, it's just begun." He said smiling. Odori felt her breath hitch. How did he know my name? He pulled out a knife as his green eyes glowed a little brighter. This made Odori's skin crawl. His eyes were full of vengeance and anger. Odori got into a fighting stance, trying to ignore the feeling of fear and intimidation that had come over her. "Oh bring it." She said smiling. She'd always liked a good fight, and now she got what she was waiting for. The villain ran towards Odori at full speed, holding the knife next to him, and jabbed it towards her. Bakugou wanted so badly to go help her but he was waiting for the perfect shot with his gauntlet. A shot so perfect he wouldn't hit Odori. She kept dodging just in time. "Come on is that all you got?" She asked, taunting him. He turned around with a smile that sent a shiver down her spine. "Not quite." He charged again, slicing through the air right by Odori's head. She dodged almost too late, but he missed nevertheless. "Are you going easy on me?" She bragged laughing. He scowled. "Of course I am." She stopped in her tracks, back facing the villain, He had just been playing around? She took a moment to think, it was her mistake. He came up behind her, as swift as a cheetah, cutting straight down her back. "GAH!" she fell onto her knees, blood spilling out of the wound. Bakugou came out of the shadows and ran over to help Odori. "Flame!" The villain stood between her and Bakugou. "Oh, you messed with the wrong person." Bakugou replied angrily. "I don't think so Kacchan." Bakugou's heart skipped a beat as his body froze. Only D-Deku called me that... Bakugou thought. "Dynamight, watch out!!" The sound of Odori's voice pulled his head back in the game. The villain thrusted the knife forward right where Bakugou's head would've been. If Odori hadn't warned him, he would've been dead. She tried to stand up, but the pain on her back stopped her. "Dekiru, send in backup, quickly." She said, her breath heaving. "Dekiru?" She grabbed her for her earpiece, but when it wasn't there, she panicked. She quickly scanned her surroundings and saw her broken earpiece on the ground. The villain really wasn't playing around. He suddenly lunged forward with the knife again, only to find himself succeeding once. Bakugou reached out and grabbed his arm. He turned it and slammed the villain against the ground. The villain cried out in pain from the impact. "Odori handcuffs now!" Bakugou called out. Odori reached into one of her belts pockets and pulled out a pair of handcuffs, then tossed them to Bakugou. He caught the cuffs and put them over the villain's wrists. "Dekiru, we have the villain. Send an ambulance, Flame got hurt pretty bad." Bakugou said into his microphone. *Got it.* Maire replied over the radio.
