TWENTY-SIX

"It's the very end of April once again so..." Biana began with a smile as the four girls walked out of class. "It's time for another sleepover since Prom's coming up. So, you're all invited to my house tonight."

Sophie, Linh, and Maruca all blinked at Biana.

"And you're just telling us this now?" Maruca asked.

Biana shrugged. "Don't worry," She told them. "I've already texted all your parents. Sophie, your parents said yes, Maruca, your parents said of course, and Linh, your mom said as long as you get your homework done."

Linh rolled her eyes while Sophie and Maruca assured her that they'd help her get her homework done.

"But what about our stuff?" Sophie asked as they walked to their cars.

"Oh, your moms have already dropped your stuff off at my house," Biana told them. "See, I've planned for everything."

Sophie and Maruca shard a look, shrugging before they all got in their cars and drove to Biana's house.

"So, the theme this year," Biana said, sharing a look with Linh. "Is Worldwide Wonder,"

Sophie nodded. "So...it's like internationally themed? So, there'll be decorations that look Asian, or American, or Russian and etcetera?"

Linh nodded. "And foods from those different places will the there too. Of course, we'll be eating out before we go in, but just in case we need a little snack..."

"That's such a cool idea," Maruca said with a grin. "It's going to be so pretty."

"I agree," Sophie said. "Maybe a little chaotic, but cool."

"So, what're you guys wearing?" Linh asked them.

"Funny you should ask," Biana said with a grin as she jumped off her bed and ran into her closet. "Because I just got my dress from my mom's store this morning."

She came out of her closet with a really pretty dress on a hanger. The dress was a blush pink, spaghetti-strapped halter dress that frilled out at the very end. The bodice was covered in sparkles and some of the frills looked like little butterflies.

"Woah," Sophie said, gaping at the dress. "I'm not a big fan of pink or frills, but that's beautiful."

Biana grinned. "Awe, thanks. Now, what're you wearing?"

Sophie showed her the picture and Biana immediately recognized it. "That's the dress you bought freshman year, right?"

Sophie nodded. "Yep—it still fits."

"Well, what about you?" Linh asked Maruca.

Maruca smiled before showing her a picture of her dress on her phone. It was a yellow dress with a sweetheart neckline. It had a few frills here and there and the bottom of the dress was very wispy and pretty.

"I'm going to be changing my blue streaks yellow for Prom," She said with a grin. "I'm so excited."

"And last but not least," Biana said. "What're you going to wear Linh?"

Linh took out her phone and showed them a bright blue maxi dress with a pretty sheen to it. It was simple, but Sophie knew that it would look so good on Linh.

"It's so pretty," Biana said with a grin. "I can't wait until we all get our hair and make-up done together and—"

"Wait, what?" Maruca asked, turning to Biana. "We're getting our hair and make-up done together?"
