"Wow," Sophie breathed as they walked into the gym. "It's not as cluttered and chaotic as I thought it'd be."

The decorations were in colors like blue, pink, and grey. Every color—even thought there were different types of nationalities' decorations—look perfect together and was the most stylish thing Sophie had ever seen.

"Yeah," Maruca said. "It's beautiful,"

They all walked forward and went straight to one of the tables and sat down, except for Biana.

"Sit down," Tam said, pulling out a chair for her.

Biana shook her head. "I want to dance," She pointed across the room to where tons of students were dancing. "Come with me," She looked at Tam.

Tam laughed nervously. "Biana, you know I can't dance."

Biana smirked at Tam before grabbing his hand, pulling him out of his chair, and dragged him to the dancefloor.

"Well, that was interesting," Dex said with a laugh.

"Yeah," Sophie said, then she got up from her seat too. "I think I'm going to get a drink. Anyone want to come with me?"

"I will," Dex and Linh said before both following Sophie over to the beverage table.

There were tons and tons of drinks from different countries there, and Sophie was enticed by all of them. There was bubble-tea, Mors, Coke products, and tons more cool looking drinks.

But Sophie decided to stay traditional and get lemonade. Dex got bubble-tea, and Linh got water. Soon, the three of them founds themselves making their way over to the food table to check out the different foods.

"That's Pelmeni," Linh explained, pointing to a tray of food that had dumpling-looking things on it. "It's Russian. It contains three types of meat and it's really good."

Dex almost gagged. "Let's look at something else,"

"Well, there's Soda Bread from Ireland," Linh said, motioning to a loaf of bread with oats on top. "It's kind of sweet and it's got honey in it,"

"Mm," Dex said, taking a slice and putting it on a napkin. "Sounds great,"

"Dex, we just ate," Sophie said with a laugh.

Dex shrugged. "If the world ends tonight, I want to be well fed."

Sophie and Linh burst out laughing before sharing a look and getting all the food at the table that looked especially good.

All the food that Sophie had chosen was good in its own way. Some of them were foods she probably wouldn't want to eat again, but most of them were delicious.

The three of them walked around the gym probably ten times, eating the food that they'd chosen in order to try and burn calories. It probably wouldn't work, but it was Prom, they could do whatever they wanted.

After they'd finished walking and eating, they sat at their table—Maruca and Jensi had left the table at some point—and started at the crowd, judging people.

"Why did they do their hair like that?" Linh asked, tilting her head at this one girl that looked like an angry cat had found its way onto her head. "Did she do it on purpose, or...?"

"I don't know," Dex said with a shrug. "But take a look at this guy," He pointed across the room to a guy getting screamed at by his Prom date. "I'd hate to be him right now."
