"Sophie, Dex is here," Edaline called as Sophie had just slipped on her shoes.
"Coming!" Sophie shouted, making her way downstairs.
Sophie had her dress on, her heels, and all her jewelry. Her make-up had been done to perfection, and her hair had been curled and put up in a half-up/half-down bun.
Sophie walked to the door and opened it, seeing Dex in a black suit with a sky-blue tie. He held out a bouquet of lavenders.
Sophie had gotten Dex a lavender boutonniere and Dex handed her a sky-blue corsage that she put on her wrist.
"Let me get some pictures," Edaline said, pulling out her phone.
Dex put his arm around her shoulders and Sophie leaned her head closer to him as Edaline took some pictures. Edaline also had them take separate pictures before she finally let them go.
They got into Dex's car and started to drive.
"Do you know where we're going to eat?" Sophie asked Dex.
"You know that place we went to before you and I left for Six Flags last year?" Dex told her.
Sophie nodded. "We're eating there?! How're we going to pay?"
"That's the thing," Dex said. "We're not,"
"What do you mean?"
"Well," He said. "Someone sent Biana a letter yesterday that had one-thousand dollars in it. On a note it said that it was to be used so we could all eat before Prom and have a good time."
Sophie blinked, not believing it. "Who sent the letter? And why didn't Biana tell me herself?"
"Well, the letter wasn't sighed," Dex told her. "So, we don't know. And the only reason I know about the money is because I was calling her to apologize about the triplets when she got the money."
"Wow," Sophie said. "I wish we could know who sent the money so we could thank them."
"Same," Dex said as he pulled into the restaurant. "I kind of feel bad that we can't."
Sophie nodded as Dex got out of his car and came over to the other side to open the door for Sophie.
"Thank you, sir," Sophie said with a laugh as she got out of the car and followed Dex inside the restaurant.
"We're sitting with Biana Vacker," Dex told the waitress as they walked up to the podium.
The lady nodded before leading them to a table in the center of the place where all of their friends were already sitting.
Everyone looked stunning. Jensi and Tam were both dress in suits and ties—Tam wore a purple tie, and Jensi wore a yellow tie. Linh's dress looked absolutely wonderful on her and her hair was put into a beautiful fishtail braid with a few curled hairs. Biana's hair was pretty and curled and she even had a small head-band tiara on the top of her head. Lastly, Maruca's new yellow-streaked hair looked gorgeous and it had been put into a fancy bun.
"You both look so great," Biana exclaimed as they walked over and sat down.
"Thanks," Sophie said with a grin.
Another waitress came over and got Sophie and Dex a Coke and some lemonade. Then, Sophie started to look on her menu for what she could eat.
After five minutes of looking over all the good-looking food, she finally settled on a apple-pecan salad.
