Kovu walked along the edge of the Northern border, marking his territory and keeping a cautious eye out for rouges or any sign of discord or any misconduct of any sort. Not seeing any, he continued his patrol, something he did at least once a week to ensure stability and conduct amongst his kingdom.
Satisfied that everything appeared orderly and in place, Kovu walked back to Pride Rock to retrieve his daughters so they could go with him to see Kion and the herd off for the yearly Mbali Fields migration where the zebras and gazelles migrated from their grazing grounds to the Mbali Fields when their food source became scarce.
Just as he was about to leave, he was assaulted by two figures who jumped on him from behind. The abrupt action made him fall to the ground in shock and his assailants used it to their advantage and attacked him ferociously making him gasp and try to get away but in vain.
"Please don't hurt me, I beg of you, I'll do anything you want but please don't hurt me," he begged pathetically to his two assailants to which they cackled and continued to assault him. Kovu yelled and tried to push them off of him, but instead of moving, they scooted to the side and assaulted Kovu on the most sensitive part of his body, making him gasp and protest, desperate to escape.
"Well, well, well. What do we have here, trying to make him submit again girls? Hmmm. Shall I join in the fun?" a female said with a concsending laugh. Kovu looked at the female in front of him and frantically shook his head, making the female laugh even more.
"No please, you can't do this to me! I thought you were on my side, how could you betray me like this!" Kovu cried as he struggled against his assailants.
"I am on their side, it's about time someone put you in your place. We would not spare you! Enjoy your last few moments of living, for they will be your last!" And with that, the female laughed wickedly and pounded on Kovu, making him scream in utter agony."Mom I'm gonna go now, the Mbali Fields migration should take two days for the most as a result of the recent rockslide, but we'll try to hurry," Kion said to Nala as they stood on the empty platform discussing the migration. "By the way where is Kovu? He said he was going to speak to me concerning some security measures regarding the migration? Is he still on patrol?"
"I suppose he is, he went but hasn't returned as yet," Nala replied to her son. "You should hurry and leave. The sooner you leave the sooner you'll return." Kion smiled at his mother and nuzzled her affectionately.
"Okay Mom. I love you so much, we'll try to hurry back, I'm just gonna go to the Northern border for a minute then I'll round up the lion guard and we'll leave."
Nala smiled at her only son and nodded. Kion nuzzled her once more before he departed for the Northern border and Nala to the den.Kion soon arrived at the Northern border and stopped dead upon hearing Kovu's scream. He hastened to the scene where the screams seemed the loudest and skidded to a halt and gazed at the scene before him. Kovu lay on his side and hovering above him were three females, assaulting him while he screamed.
Kion stood there and watched the scene before him trying his hardest not laugh. Kovu sensed someone's presence and turned to see Kion standing there, a stupid grin plastered on his face as he watched him in his obviously uncomfortable predicament. He gasped and wheezed as he tried to escape for the eighth time but failed miserably.
"Kion help me for King's sake! Don't just stand there, help me!" Kovu cried out frustration evident on his face. Kion, usually composed and calm in situations such as this, although he tried to hold it in, failed miserably and bursted out laughing. He laughed so hard, tears came out of his eyes.
Kovu watched in disbelief and yelped and one of the females bit down on his tail.
"Hey watch it that hurt!" he said.
When Kion was calm once more, he sighed loudly and shook his head indulgently.
"I won't help you Kovu, I'm sorry but I refuse to come in the middle of this... friendly dispute," he said with a smirk." Excuse me? There is nothing friendly about this dispute, I am being harassed, assaulted and... beaten!" Kovu retorted. Kion rolled his eyes and smiled wickedly.
"Is it my fault that this is happening? You can't control your own wife and daughters, how is that my fault?"Kovu rolled his eyes and let his head fall back into the grass, visibly exhausted by the fight he put up in an attempt to keep Kiara, Zalika and Pricilla from tickling him. It drained him as how a snake squeezed its victim to death before devouring it.
"Daddy did put up a fight Uncle Kion, you have to give him credit for that," Pricilla said with a cheeky smirk aimed at her father.Kovu groaned and rose off of the grass as soon as Kiara climbed off of him, finally freeing him from the viscous grip they held him in.
"The zebras and gazelles are ready for the migration, shall we go Kovu?" Kion asked when all joking were put aside. Kovu nodded to his brother-in-law and the three adults led the way to the grazing grounds where the two herds resided.Author's note: sorry for the long wait for an update you guys.
