Assembly and sibling battle

The sun was shining brightly when the lions reached outside. The lionesses lined up in two parallel lines and bowed as Simba and Nala walked by. The same thing happened when Kiara and Kovu passed. Only this time, Vitani raised her head and inch off the ground and teasingly winked at Kovu.

Kovu rolled his eyes and mouthed, "Just be quiet and bow to your future king." It was Vitani's turn to roll her eyes when he finished.
When the royal family reached the peak of Pride Rock, Simba roared to say good morning to the kingdom. Afterwards it was Kovu's turn. Nala and Kiara came after him. Then all four of them roared in unison. When they were done, they turned to the pride.

"Good morning everyone," said Simba smiling.
"Good morning your majesty," replied the pride.
"Everyone seems quite perky this morning," said Nala smiling.
The lionesses smiled at this.
"I'd like to make a couple of announcements before we are dismissed," said Simba.

"The mating season is just a few days away and as we know there are a lot of lionesses who will be in heat," The lionesses nodded in agreement.
"Did you hear that Kovu?" asked Vitani smirking wickedly. Kovu went red with embarrassment. But he quickly regained himself. "Shut up Vitani mind your own business," he said.

"Oh but this is my business, this is the question of who my brother is going to impregnate you know," she smirked.
"How dare you say such a preposterous thing?" demanded Kovu. "Kiara is the only lioness I love and will impregnate. You know that!"
"As if Simba would allow you to get his daughter pregnant at such an early age, don't make me laugh Kovu," Vitani scoffed.

"That's it!" Kovu shouted.
He lunged at Vitani and she fell on her back.
"Oh how dare you ?! Just wait until I get my claws on you. You'll be very sorry!" Vitani growled as she lunged forward, connecting her paw with Kovu's head.
"Okay Vitani, you wanna play dirty? Let's play dirty!" Kovu said tauntingly.

They circled each other a few times, then Vitani landed the first attack and they began fighting.
The lionesses began to cheer and shout as they saw Kovu and Vitani fighting.
"Go Kovu!" Kiara cheered.
"Should we stop them?" Nala asked Simba.
"They're siblings, siblings fight all the time," Simba chuckled.

They fought for at least two minutes before Diana decided to intervene before they caused each other any serious damage. "Kovu, Vitani please stop fighting." she pleaded gently. They paid no attention.
"I said stop fighting," she said a little more loudly.
They still continued to fight. "ENOUGH!" she yelled.

They stopped fighting each other and got up.
"Vitani started it," said Kovu glaring at his smirking sister. "Me, I think you mean you started it not me," countered Vitani.
"You wanna go again?" flared Kovu viciously.
"Ladies first," sneered Vitani. They got into attack formation and before long they were involved in a fierce battle.

Vitani was fast and dodged some of Kovu's attacks but when Kovu did hit her she fell weak. But when Vitani built up enough stamina, she connected her claws with Kovu's face scarring him accidentally, making him scream in pain. The pride was silent. Nobody moved a muscle.
"Kovu!" Kiara shouted as she rushed to his side and quickly examined his eye.

It was bleeding profusely because Vitani had her claws unsheathed. The stinging was unbelievably painful.
"You see what happens when I say not to do something and you do it anyway? I told you to stop fighting because I knew something like this would happen sooner or later," Diana reprimanded.

Kiara shook her head sadly, she felt bad for Kovu. So she took her paw and wiped out some of the blood making Kovu flinch.
"Stop moving baby," said Kiara kindly. "I know it hurts just let me do my thing."
She wiped off some of the blood and blew his eye and took her tongue and licked it to remove the excess blood from the wound. The blood didn't taste nice but she didn't mind.

"That's it, that's it, stay still for just bit more, there that's my good boyfriend," she said softly. The lionesses gasped when they heard that last sentence. It was the first time they'd heard Kiara refer Kovu as her boyfriend.

"Boyfriend?" Marisa questioned. "Yes boyfriend, didn't you know that Kovu and I are in a relationship?" Kiara asked teasingly.
When no one answered, Kiara shrugged and continued to work on Kovu's eye. After five minutes of licking, Kiara had finally cleaned off the blood.

"Thanks babe," said Kovu after Kiara was finished.
"You're welcome," she replied as she kissed him lightly in his cheek. Kovu looked around and noticed that all the lionesses were staring.
"Hey Kiara let's get outta here," he said softly.
"Alright baby let's go," she said laughing.
So the two of them got up off the ground and hastily walked off of the platform.
