If I were to handpick one quote someone had said to explain the romance I so deeply covet from you it'd be from Mr. Laurie himself.
When he had Jo right before him and had looked at her with such desperation. You'd felt it through the screen or page. Once he began to say it.
"I can't love anyone else, Jo. I only love you."
It honestly moved me to tears. The yearning for anything close to that was so strong. To have anyone love me just as much as Laurie did Jo. I wish you did. It hurts to say it because I'm so prideful but really I do wish you'd been better to me. I wish you'd seen me the same way I did you. There was no one better out there than you at those moments. I wish that were true to you too.
