Todoroki's POV

Getting ready for school was a lot harder than I thought it was going to be.

For starters, Kaminari and I accidentally slept in for an extra thirty minutes, and putting on my school uniform was difficult when I could barely move my legs.

This sucks.

"Do you need some help before I go, Todoroki?" Kaminari asked, taking my uniform from its hanger and placing it on the messy bed beside me. He turned to me and gave me a small, kind smile.

I smiled back, frowning slightly. "I . . . I don't want to be a burden to you."

Kaminari laughed lightly and shook his head. "You're not a burden, Todoroki. It's okay to ask for help."

I bit my lip. "You won't mind?"

He shook his head. "Not at all."

"What about the scars?" I mumbled, my voice dropping. Kaminari's smile fell slightly. "You won't be afraid of them?"

Kaminari swallowed and sighed. "I'm not going to judge you, or be afraid of you. It's okay."

I nodded, and started tugging on my shirt slightly. "I-I might need some help taking this off."

Kaminari gave me a wide smile. "I'll help you!"

How embarrassing.

But it was nice to have somebody there for me.

After Kaminari had somehow managed to help me dress in my uniform and packed my school bag with my textbooks, he quickly wheeled me out of my dorm, and called for the elevator. A minute later, we were greeted by the sight of the rest of the class, who were all putting on their shoes, getting ready to leave.

Katsuki was quick to notice Kaminari and I, and pulled us into the kitchen. He grabbed both our bags and filled our lunch boxes with some egg and rice before handing us some of his famous pancakes that were wrapped in a clean cloth.

"Eat those quickly while we walk to school. You don't have enough time to brush your teeth," he threw a packet of fresh breath mints at me, and I let it fall to my lap. "Put some of those mints in your mouth once you're done. I've packed your lunch. Let's go."

There was a snicker from behind us, and Kirishima was quick to make his appearance beside Katsuki.

"Mum mode: activated." He giggled, playfully punching the blonde's shoulder.

Katsuki snarled. "Not now, Kirishima. We have to get to school. Go grab Izuku and make sure he's ready."

The redhead nodded at his orders and quickly left with a salute, patting both Kaminari's head and mine before disappearing into the lounge area.

Katsuki gently nudged Kaminari from behind me, and took hold of the handles on the wheelchair.

"I'll push him, Kaminari. You need to eat," he explained, his facial expression soft. "And thanks for looking after Shouto last night."

The yellow-haired teen nodded, offering a smile while taking a bite of his breakfast. "It was more like he looked after me, but no problem."

The other teen sighed and shook his head, rolling me out of the kitchen and towards the elevator again, where Kirishima and Izuku, as well as Iida, were waiting.

It's weird for Iida to join us. It means he's going to be one of the last students to make it to the classroom, which was unlike him, since he's usually one of the first.
