"Shit, they all look the same." Ban grumbled. He stopped in front a house and began looking through the instructions a second time. "I think I turned a right instead of a left, goddammit..."
"I knew it was too good to be truth. You'd pull a dumb stunt to force your way to become King one day or the other."
"What the-?" Ban looked up, eyes widening as he eyes fell on Izuru. "The hell you doing here?!"
Izuru looked at the house next to the two and sighed looking down.
'Yumi's house...' "I see."
"You see? You see what, dammit?! I'm not doing anything wrong, I'm just trying to get to Doujima's house in peace! Stop acting like I'm the worst thing in the world, I haven't done a thing!"
"Yes, you haven't." Izuru nodded. "But for how long? I'm surprised you managed to find this so quickly, specially when she didn't even speak during your visit to the council."
"Find this?! She?! What the hell are you talking about?!"
"This house. It's where the temporary treasurer lives. She's a first year and was there when you went to the council. I shoved the chance of you doing something as underhanded as going after one of the council members as deep as I could in my head, but that's what ended up happening. At least I got here before you had the chance to do anything."
"Huh?! What are the hell are you going on about, dammit?!"
'I'm sorry Sumireko, but I'm confidant I can do this. I just have to drive him away from Yumi's house and avoid getting hit.' Izuru thought. "Isn't it obvious? You came after one of the council members and use her to force us to make you King, didn't you? Why else would you come to where the treasurer lives?"
"I've told you already, I didn't knew that! I'm passing by to go to a friend's house! And it wasn't even me who thought about coming this way, it was that chick with the butterfly hair things that told me!"
"Shut up, liar!" Izuru demanded, tossing his school bag into the air.
"What the-?!" Ban gasped, looking upwards at the bag.
After hearing the sound of footsteps, Ban looked back down, gasping at the sight. Izuru was already in front of him, holding back his right fist, which he slammed against Ban's face, making him step back. Without letting his opponent have a chance to recover, Izuru continued his rapid fire strikes by continously slamming Ban with both hands, be it in the form of fists or the form of palms, always pushing him further and further back. When pushed back enough, and when he began feeling the strain of the quick movements against a sturdy opponent like Ban, Izuru pulled his right hand back and slammed it fully open against Ban's gut, causing the former to gasp and fall to his knees.
Izuru quickly backed away, holding his arms up in a fighting stance, but also panting harshly. 'I thought kendo would be the better sport to avoid getting rusty, but it didn't work out as good as I thought.'
"Stop it, dammit..." Ban muttered, weakened and struggling to get up. "I d-didn't... I didn't do anything wrong...!" Finally standing on his own two legs, all Ban did was lift his arms to defend himself. "I don't wanna fight you, I didn't do anything!"
"Stop lying and take responsibility for what you did!" Izuru exclaimed, charging forward. Using the wall next to him as a boost to make his jump higher, Izuru bounced into the air, holding his right knee back.
"Stop..." Ban muttered.
When close enough, Izuru striked, launching foot forward in a kick that broke Ban's defense and made his arms flail away from him.
"Stop... Please..."
Still in the air, Izuru spun around, shooting forward another kick with his right foot, one that striked Ban's chest, making him lose his balance.
"Stop... I'm begging you, stop...'
To finish off his combo of three consecutive roundhouse kicks, Izuru spun a final time and launched his final kick, this time having Ban's head as the target.
"STOP!" Ban yelled, grabbing Izuru's ankle with an iron grip before the final kick could connect. Fully blinded by the rage caused by Izuru's actions, Ban hurled his opponent towards the wall to his right.
Izuru crashed against the wall on his back, then fell right on the floor. Coughing out some blood, and struggling to get up to get back, he was pushed down by Ban's foot.
"I say it and I say it and I say it again, but you don't listen... You think it's up to you to pass judgement or some shit on whoever you want, you don't even bother to listen to the two sides of the story... Fine then! I'll be exactly what you want! I'm taking Heiwa for myself, no matter the cost! And if you got a problem with that, then go beg that shitty headmaster for help, you punk!" Ban declared, taking his foot of Izuru's back, but striking his gut over and over again right after, with each strike making Izuru's groans, caused by him forcing himself to not yell, grow louder.
"You won't.... H-heiwa..." Izuru tried to speak up in a drained voice that resembled that of a dying old man.
"Shut up!" Ban demanded. He grabbed Izuru by his hair and forced to stand up and look him in the eyes. The stand off between the glare of someone who fell to what people expected of him versus the nearly closed eyes of someone who failed. Ban clenched his fist and slammed it against Izuru's right eye, the one covered his hair, and let go of him.
A push wasn't even needed to throw Izuru down, his weakened state didn't allow for him to stand up. 'I'm sorry... S-sumireko...'
"Get bent and eat shit." Ban said his final piece, slamming his foot down against Izuru's right ankle, but not even that made him scream.
'I still... Am awake... He's gone... But those footsteps...'
"I'm going to start charging you for all the problems you put me through."
"S-sumi...." Izuru slowly looked up to see the source of the voice, but everything went black before he could fully see it.
