Cassandra:
     "Teammates?!" Carina and Gabriel exclaimed.

Gabriel got out of work early when I informed that I had left early. He got worried about me and actually got to Carina's house before I did. They said a couple of curse words as I told the story, but they managed to stay calm the whole time. Until.... I told them about being a "team" with Spencer.

I nodded at them, assuring them that they had heard correctly.

"You can't do that! Not with him!" Gabriel yelled. "You think I have a choice?" "Yes you do!" he yelled again while Carina held onto his arm, trying to calm him.

"Well I don't. I really really don't. We are being accused of.... things that aren't true-" "Of course they aren't!" Gabriel interrupted. I groaned and continued," Well we are being accused together. He wins, I win. He loses, I lose. I know it sucks. But I'm stuck in this situation and there's no going back."

"Ima go kick his ass," Gabriel exclaimed standing up. "It's not his fault Gabriel! Or mine!" Carina nodded," She has a point. Please calm down my love." Gabriel sighed and sat down, crossed arms.

"There to be a solution," Carina said calmly. "There is. And as horrible as it sounds, it's to work together with Spencer and prove our innocence." Carina sighed and Gabriel stood up," Then let's go talk to him. Right now."

"What? No no." I said. "I don't think that's a good idea," Carina agreed. "How about we go to the mall?" "Why the mall?" Gabriel questioned me. "Because, it's a public place where you will be forced to be calm. Plus, I think we all need a break from reality and just hang out and have fun." "She's right," Carina said," Come on. We could play laser tag, eat, watch a movie. Please." "Fine fine," Gabriel groaned.

I smiled slightly," Good. How about we change and go?" "Alright," Gabriel said annoyed.

We all went to change. The only outfit I had left was for tomorrow. So, I managed to work with the outfit I had on already. I pulled my skirt up to my waist and tied my shirt into a knot in the back.

When I got out of the room, Gabriel was standing in the hallway, arms still crossed. Carina got out then, and saw him. She sighed," Gabriel come on. Don't be like that." "Whatever." He turned away from us and started walking towards the door," Let's go."

Spencer:
I hit the wall," Fuck!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. I wanted to murder someone. I don't sexual harass anyone! "Ugh!" I yelled in rage hitting the wall again.

I picked up my phone and saw my wallpaper. Cassandra was on my back kissing my cheek. My breath got more and more rough. I threw the phone to the floor. "I hate all this bullshit!"

The door to my room opened and my mom rushed in to hug me. "Baby, please calm down." "Are you seriously asking me to calm down?! Plus, what are you even doing here?" "I'm the owner. I don't have a schedule, I get to leave as I please. And I wasn't gonna leave you alone." "I'm not alone. This wall is my friend."

"This wall was gonna die if I didn't show up on time. Where's Cas?" "I don't know," I replied plainly. She took out her phone and started typing. "What are you doing?" I asked her. "Texting Cassandra. To see where she is." "Just because you are her boss doesn't mean you could control her every move."

"She's more than just my employee Spencer." "Excuse me?" "She's like a daughter to me." "EXCUSE ME?!" "Spencer, seriously relax. How about you go to the mall?" "Why the mall?" I questioned. "You need to distract yourself Spencer." "Fine fine," I groaned.

I picked up my now broken phone and walked towards the door, arms crossed. Then, I heard my mom's phone buzz. I turned around and saw her smile. "What are you smiling about?" "Nothing dear. Just go." "Whatever," I said turning around again and walking out.

Cassandra:
"Who are you texting?" Carina asked me curiously. "Michelle. She wanted to see how I was doing. So, I told her that I was thinking through stuff, but that I was going to the mall to get my mind off it." "Why does she care huh?" Gabriel said gripping onto the steering wheel tightly.

I rolled my eyes," I'm ready to get out of this car and walk to the mall without you." "Go then." "Gabriel!" Carina exclaimed. Gabriel sighed," I'm sorry Cas. This situation of yours is stressing me out. I shouldn't let that out on others, especially you." I smiled," Thank you for that." He smiled slightly.

After about 5 minutes of jamming out to Linkin Park, we arrived at the mall. "So what's the first thing on the to do list?" Gabriel said, sounding excited about the mall for once. "How about we get a bite to eat? Cause I'm starving." Carina suggested. "Yea, same," I agreed. "Food court it is," Gabriel replied giving her a quick kiss on the head. We went to the food court and I got a text from Charlotte.

I kept walking but payed more attention to my phone. I heard Gabriel and Carina start whispering and I put my phone away. They stopped in of me and looked at me with eyes of worry." "What's up?" "Well, I'm not really hungry anymore," Carina said," How about we go play laser tag?" "Uh, but you said you were starving." "Stomach changed its mind." "Well mine didn't."

I stepped to the side and walked past them. Gabriel grabbed my arm and spun me around," Come on. Laser tag first." "What is up with you guys?" "Nothing," they both exclaimed.

I stepped to the left. They stepped in front of me. I stepped to the right. They stepped in front of me. I stepped left slowly and when they were getting in front of me, I ran to the right and got past them.

This girl bumped into me causing us both to fall onto the ground. I hit my head on the floor and I groaned in pain.

"Cas!" I heard Carina and Gabriel scream before placing their hands on my head. I sat up with a groan," Are you ok?..." I whispered to the girl. The girl whispered softly," I don't think so..." She sat up and looked me straight in the eyes.

Hey .. that girl looked very familiar. "Cassandra," she said with a sharp breath. "You..." I said softly.

"Well this is exactly what I was trying to avoid," Gabriel muttered. Carina gasped looking the other way. We all followed her gaze and our eyes landed on the same person, Spencer.

"Fuck," Gabriel said turning his hands into fists. Spencer's eyes landed on me in an instance. He ran my way and held my face in his hands," What happened to you?! You look dazed off, and you're so pale."

I didn't answer. I stayed quiet and just looked straight at him. The girl coughed trying to get his attention, but she didn't get it. I nodded my head towards her, so Spencer would look, but he didn't.

"Spencer," I said softly," Look who's behind you." He turned around and I think he was ready to pass out," Cami..." "Hey Spencer," she said with a soft smile.

"Wh-what are you-doing here?" "It's the mall. I didn't know I needed an explanation for being here. Plus, you're my client, not my boss."

"Client?" Gabriel asked. "Wait a minute..." he said realizing something," You picked her up at the strip club! This isn't your 'new girl' now is it?"

I looked at him, pain running up and down my veins like acid. He nodded," Yea. So? I'm single, I could do whatever I want." "This wasn't your first time there though sir," Cami said snuggly.

I rolled my eyes," Of course it isn't. Gabriel help me up please." Spencer offered me his hand before Gabriel did. I snarled at him," I said Gabriel." Gabriel smirked and picked me up," We're taking you home." "No! Not with the monster!" "Ok fine. We're going back to Carina's." "Good."

Carina smiled slightly and gave me a kiss on the forehead,"Everything will be okay princess." I nodded slowly and felt my eyelids get heavy. I closed them shut and fell asleep on Gabriel's chest.
