Chapter Twenty-Four

Spencer:
     I watched as Gabriel took Cassandra away. Cami coughed to get my attention, but I didn't care. All I cared about was the girl that was being taken away from me once again. Cami nudged me and I turned to look at her.

"You know, you could help me up." "Right right." I offered her my hand which she quickly took. I pulled her up and she placed her hands on my chest," Cassandra seems... clumsy." I chuckled," I love how you aren't even gonna say that she looks very much like you. You look more like her than her own sister."

"That's kinda weird no offense." "Yeah, I realize." "Is that why you decided to have sex with me?" I stayed quiet. "I'll take that as a yes." "Does that bother you? I mean, you are a stripper. Someone was bound to have sex with you at some point. Not gonna lie, you're really pretty."

She smiled," Thanks. And I suppose you're right. But, I can't complain. My first time was with Spencer Jackson. The most popular guy in school." I stared at her in shock," You already knew me?" She chuckled," I go to Ferguson too. I'm a senior." "How come I never noticed you before?" "We don't have any classes together." "We could make that work though."

"What do you mean by that?" "I mean, Cami Suarez, would you like to be my girlfriend?" Cami smiled brightly," I would love to."

Cassandra:
The next morning, I woke up with the biggest headache. As I descended the stairs, I heard Carina and Gabriel talking in the kitchen.

"None of this is fair to Cas," Carina said. "I know. And Spencer is so... ugh. I wish I could go punch him." "Please stay calm at school." "I don't know how I'm going to do that. He sits right in front of me in Spanish. Hitting him won't be that hard." "Gabriel," Carina said sternly. "Fine fine I won't punch him. I'm more concerned about Cami." "Why Cami?"

Gabriel sighed," I hadn't told you this. But, Cami goes to our school." "She does?!" Gabriel nodded,"Last year, we were in Debate Club together. She's a senior now." "So she's older than us huh?" "Yeah by a year."

"Do you think Spencer knows her from school or from the strip club?" "Based on yesterday ima go with the strip club. I hate how she looks so much like Cas tho." "You noticed that too?" "Yeah, it's incredible how alike they are. The same wavy strawberry-blond hair." "The color of their skin," Carina continued. They took turns mentioning all the similarities we had.

I walked over to them," Good morning." They both stopped talking and faced me with a smile," Good morning Cas." "How do you feel?" Carina asked. "Big headache." "Do you wanna stay here instead of going to school?" Gabriel asked. "Nah, I'll just take a pill."

I grabbed the carton of eggs when Carina stopped me," No, we're going to eat breakfast at Starbucks before school." "Oh," I put the carton away," Ima go get dressed them." They nodded.

I ran up the stairs and put on my last outfit left: A blue blouse with white flower designs and some white pants with my white converse. I grabbed my book bag and my suitcase and went downstairs.

"Why your suitcase?" Gabriel asked. I have to home today after school." "Right same. I forgot we didn't live here," Gabriel said with a chuckle," Ima go get mine."

As he headed upstairs, Carina held my hand," Are you ok?" "Yeah, of course." "Are you sure? Don't lie to me." I sighed," It's all hard. First I'm being sued with Spencer of sexual harassment. And then I see him with some random chick who he picked up at the strip club." Carina hugged me," I'm so sorry about everything." "It's not your fault. You don't need to feel sorry for me. I'm fine." I pulled away from the hug," I promise I'm fine."

Gabriel ran back downstairs with his suitcase," Ok, ready." I went into the medicine cabinet and put a pill in a napkin inside my book bag. It was going to be a long day.

When we got to school, everyone was looking at me. "Why is everyone staring me at me?..." "I don't know..." Gabriel replied just as confused. As we walked into the school, more pairs of eyes landed on me. I started feeling self-conscious. "Hey! What are you all staring at?! Get a life people!" Carina screamed.

Everyone quickly turned away. "Thanks Carina," I whispered. "I would still like to know why they are staring," Gabriel said, arms crossed. "And I think I figured it out," I said softly.

Gabriel and Carina followed my gaze and gasped when they saw it: Spencer making out with Cami right next to my locker. "I swear to god..." Gabriel muttered before walking over to them. "Gabriel no no!" Carina and I exclaimed going after him.

"Spencer!" Gabriel said angrily. Spencer stopped kissing Cami and looked at him," What?" Gabriel punched him," Don't fuck around with us anymore." Spencer held his nose and stared at him," I'm not messing with anyone." "Oh really? So you making out with a stripper next to Cassandra's locker is just a coincidence right?"

Cami shrugged," It's not our fault that my boyfriend's ex's locker was right here." "Boyfriend?" I chocked out. Cami smirked," Oh, you didn't know. Surprise."

"Spencer..." I breathed out barely able to look at him. "I'm sorry Cas. Did you expect me to beg you my whole life? There are much better fish in the sea." Gabriel kicked him and they started fighting in the middle of the hallway.

Everyone took out their phones to film. Cami chuckled," Look how your friend is being destroyed out there. Cassandra, I'm sorry that you just weren't good enough for Spencer. And Carina, I'm sorry your boyfriend-" She couldn't finish her statement. Carina pushed her back into the locker and she hit her head. Cami glared at her," You will regret this!" She pushed Carina and another fight went down.

I stood in the middle frozen. I started crying. Carina, Spencer, and Gabriel looked at me, but Cami didn't bother. I saw Carina had the upper hand, so I got in the middle of Spencer and Gabriel (let's be honest, Gabriel was losing and badly). "Stop it! Both of you! No, all four of you!" The boys stopped fighting and just glared at each other.

A loud scream filled the hallway. It was Cami. Carina screamed in pain less than second later. "Carina!" Gabriel and I exclaimed just as Spencer exclaimed," Cami!" The three of us ran to them trying to break up the fight. Cami tugged on Carina's hair and Carina stepped on Cami with the heel of her boot.

Suddenly, the five of us were screaming. But there was a sixth scream that stopped us all," Jackson! Chang! Holt! Suarez! Fernandez! My office now!"
