Chapter Nineteen

Cassandra:
     It was Friday night. I was in bed, bored out of my mind. I had read all my books over and over again, done all my homework, and I had nothing left to do. I sighed loudly as my phone vibrated.

I looked at my phone and saw it was from Gabriel.

Gabriel: Hey!
Me: Hey, what's up?
Gabriel: The roof ;)
Me: Omg haha so funny 🙄
Gabriel: Yes Ik I'm hilarious
Me: Totally 👌
Gabriel: Anyways, wanna hang?
Me: Sure, when?
Gabriel: Today
Me: Today? It's like 8
Gabriel: Sleepover duh
Me: Uhhhhh....
Gabriel: Lmao 😂 Cas, it's at Carina's house she's like super bored so I was thinking we have a sleepover at her house today and stay there all weekend there is no escaping her house
Me: Sounds Cool 😎 shouldn't we ask her parents though???
Gabriel: I already did ;) they are all for it they are buying all the food
Me: They know we like to eat huh
Gabriel: Exactly Lol
Me: Wait... But I work tmr and Sunday
Gabriel: It's fine tho, I got work too. And we work at the same time so we could go work and then go back. But we are only going to work no where else
Me: Oh ok that works for me
Gabriel: Great :D
Me: Ok well ima get ready
Gabriel: Ok I'll be there in 30 min
Gabriel: Lol girls and needing little time... you never find that
Me: Wowwwwwww bye
Gabriel: Bye fam

I went to my closet and chose an outfit for tonight. I also chose outfits for Saturday and Sunday. I stuffed them all into my suitcase and put my other necessities in there. I also put in an outfit for Monday, just in case Carina's parents or Gabriel were taking us to school. I put on my outfit: A black sleeved shirt, a jean vest, a pair of jeans, and black leather boots. I put on my black watch and black chocker and I went into the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and my hair and then put the two brushes in my suitcase.

I was ready in 15 min; I still had 15 left. I went to Charlotte's room and knocked. "Come in!" I heard her say. I walked in and sat on her bed next to her. "What's up sissy?" she asked me. "I'm not coming all weekend." "What?! Why?" she exclaimed. "I'm having a sleepover at Carina's house." "Who else is going?" "Just us and Gabriel." Charlotte pouted," You are leaving me here alone with the monster."

I frowned," I hadn't thought of that." Charlotte shrugs," Its Fine. I could go on a shopping spree!" she said, her eyes suddenly lighting up. I chuckled," You have fun with that." She nods," Oh, I will."

"Let me go tell the monster I'm leaving." Charlotte nods," I hope you don't die." "Me too."

I walked out of her room and went to the monster's room, without even knocking," Yo, I'm not gonna be here all weekend. Ok? Cool." I started to walk out when she called out my name. I turned around," Yes?" "I'm your mother Cassandra. Stop treating me like I'm not." "Well you are not. You lost your daughters because of your passion for that stupid guy." "I will break up with him Cas, I will do anything to win you guys back." "It's too late," I said walking out and slamming the door behind me.

I went into my room and my phone starts ringing. It was Gabriel. I picked up quickly," Hello." "Hey, I'm outside." "K, I'll be there."

I hang up and got my suitcase. As I walked out of the house, I yelled," Bye Lettie!" "Bye Cassy!" Charlotte yelled back. I went down the elevator-which was packed- and waited for it to reach the first floor. Once it did, I ran into Gabriel's car. He chuckled as I closed the door," Someone's excited huh?" I smiled," I just can't wait to spend the weekend with my two best friends." He smiled at me and started the drive to Carina's house.

When we arrived, we were greeted by Carina's dad," Cassandra, Gabriel. So glad to see you." We smiled at him," Nice to see you too," we both replied. "Carina is upstairs. I'm letting you two surprise her. I didn't tell her anything." Gabriel and I looked at each other, huge smiles on our faces. We ran up the stairs and bolted into her room yelling," SLEEPOVER!"
