Cassandra:
That night, I was in my room with Charlotte telling her about the great opportunity I had received.

"I can't believe Spencer did that for you." "Yea whatever. The point is: I don't know if I should take the job. Would that be letting him win?" "Not really. Just like Mrs. Casperson said: Don't mix your personal life with your work life. You got the job, you deserve the job, so take it."

"I guess you're right. Tomorrow I'll go tell Mrs. Casperson that I except the offer." Charlotte smiled," Good for you."
                            *************
The next day, after school, I went to Michelle's Kitchen and I found Spencer sitting in the first table with his dad, Paul Jackson.

"Cassandra," he said when he saw me. "Spencer," I said harshly. I turned my attention to his dad," Good afternoon Mr. Jackson. It's such a pleasure seeing you again." Mr. Jackson got up to give me a kiss in the cheek," Cassandra. I told you, don't be so formal. Call me Paul." I smiled at him," Thanks Paul. Anyways, I have to talk to your wife. So if you excuse me, I'll get going now." I walked away, until someone grabbed my arm.

I turned around and saw it was Spencer. "Let go of me," I demanded. He did as I said," Are you going to accept the job?" "That's none of your business Spencer." He sighed," Cassandra. I don't want to lose you. Even if we have to be just friends, I'll live with that. But, I can't be without you." "Well I can be without you, and that's how it will be. All we are are classmates. We talk when we need to get work done, from there: No more. Adios." I walked to Mrs. Casperson's office and knocked on the door.

"Come in!" I walked in and smiled at her," Good afternoon." "Cassandra Holt. Didn't expect to see you here today." I laughed nervously," Yea..." "So have you made a decision?" "Yes I have Mrs. Casperson; I want the job." Mrs. Casperson smiled," Excellent! You start Monday. And by the way, call me Michelle." I smiled at her," Thank you so much for the opportunity Michelle." "My pleasure. Have a good day!" "You too!"

I walked out of the restaurant with my head held high. I felt proud that I didn't let Spencer ruin this for me. I don't need him.... or do I?...

Spencer:
I was in my room looking at the ceiling when my mom came in," Spencer. Dinner time." "Not hungry mom." She sighed," Your food will be in the microwave for when you want it." "Alright mom."

I see she stopped trying to get my spirits up.

I couldn't stop thinking about Cassandra. Yes, at first it was all a game for me. But, I actually fell for her. And I fell hard. I knew I couldn't tell her the truth. But, I also knew I couldn't keep lying to her. I want her back so bad. You have no idea.

*flashback*
I was feeling dizzy. She looked so beautiful. She has listened to me. I was feeling sorry for telling her to dress like that. Not because I didn't want to look at her like that, but because I wasn't going to be able to stop looking at her.
I was able to finally speak. "Hey beautiful." "Hey," she said smiling the smile I loved most in the world.
I was able to stop looking at her to look at her mother.

*another flashback*
What in the world was happening?! The girl I loved with all my heart was kissing me and I didn't understand why. Was it because she loved me too or because she was drunk?
It didn't matter, I didn't care. I simply did not care. I just kissed her back, everything else in the world was forgotten.
I carried her to my car and put her on top of me. I kissed her, allowing all my feelings to come out.
She was sitting on top of me while allowing me to unzip her dress. She looked gorgeous, well, she always does. My heart was racing fast. I kissed her neck and worked my way down to her stomach.
Suddenly, I felt her pull away. "I can't do this... it's wrong," she whispered. "Alright, I'll take you home," I replied. 'Well then, it shall be another day then.'
