Flashback

"MACKENZIE!" Mrs Stanton yelled to her daughter on the morning of her 16th birthday.

"Ma she hasn't left her room remember!" Reggie yelled back.

"Well tell that brat to come out!" Mrs Stanton complained.

"She won't listen. Why do you want her now anyways?" Reggie said as he went to the bottom of the staircase.

"It's her stupid birthday. I got her a dollar." Mrs Stanton said, throwing the dollar and waking out the front door for work.

Reggie frowned as he lifted the dollar off the ground, walking it up the girls room.

"Kenz.. can you open the door..?" Reggie gently asked as he knocked on the door.

"LEAVE ME ALONE!" She yelled back, making Reggie flinch from the yells.

Yes, Today marks three months of Mackenzie being in her room. Although all of the boys did see her on Luke's birthday not too long ago, Reggie just wanted to see her again.

"Mackenzie please.. I just.. I just want to know your alright." Reggie said, his voice falling apart.

The door slowly opened, the smaller girl standing on the other side with a frown.

Reggie smiled a little bit, hugging his sister tightly but gentle enough to not hurt her.

"Happy birthday." He said as he pulled away from the hug.

"Th-thanks.. I really don't want to do anything today though. Today's the first year I have no actual friends to celebrate with." Mackenzie said, looking to her toes.

"Hey what about me and the boys?" Reggie said with a smirk, nudging her shoulder.

"That doesn't count. You guys are like a bunch of five year olds." Mackenzie said, crossing her arms.

"Ok ok, before you lock the door again, I got you a present." Reggie said, making the girls eyes glow as he ran to his room.

As he came back, he handed Mackenzie a pink envelope with a card inside. She looked at the cover of the card and saw it was a six year olds card.

"Unleash your inner 6 year old." Reggie said while he laughed at the girls confused face.

"You idiot." Mackenzie said, opening the car.

Dear Mackenzie,

Happy birthday you little shit. I promise this card is definitely wasting your time. But, I'm your brother and that's my job.

Happy birthday,
Reg

"Haha so funny Reggie." Mackenzie sarcastically said.

"Wait you didn't see the actual gift!" He said pointing back to the card.

Mackenzie looked back down to the card and saw a hundred dollar bill taped to the card.

"R-Reggie.. you didn't have to.." Mackenzie said as she stared down to the card.

"No, your taking it. After what's been going on you deserve it. Plus, now you can get anything you want." Reggie said as Mackenzie hugged him.

"Your the best." She said with a small smile.

"But I'm better right?" Alex said as he came into the room with Bobby.
