BANG!

NOTHING has been exciting me lately. This is too plain.

"W-woah! Stop na bro, I give up." Allistor said as he put his gun down.

"Tsk, As usual." I smirked and for the last time, I hit the target. "You never win against me in shooting stuff anyway," I added.

"Stop act—"

"Scratch that," sumingit ako. Hindi niya na natapos ang sasabihin niya. "You never win against me, in anything."

That's the truth. He can't even dodge bullet while me? Yon ang isa sa pinaka-nurtured na skill ko. By reading the the targeter's fingers, I can calculate the time I have to move. Sabay kaming pinag-traning ni Allistor sa organisasyong ito and he's always—always a step behind me.

He didn't fire back after I teased him. Did he realize his defeat?

For the last time, I aimed for the red dot in the middle of the target board. Butas na butas na ito. Kanina ko pa kasi natatamaan.

BANG!

"Kain na tayo, I'm fucking hungry," ani ko at ibinaba na ang aking baril. Hindi pa man nakakasagot si Allistor ay nauna na ako.

From the lawn, I walked towards the house. Or should I call it our mansion? Dito talaga ang bahay namin. Although, dad has given me my own small house too. For privavcy purposes? Anyways, Good thing, I wore a cap today. Masyadong mainit ngayon para lumabas labas ng bahay.

It's still 9 but the temperature seemed to be like noontime already.

Pagkapasok ko ay tanaw ko ang mga maid na mukhang busy kasi halos tumakbo na sila sa loob ng mansyon. Hindi ko naman pinansin 'yon. I got used to it. Whenever I come home, dad always wants a grand meal.

Mapa-almusal, pananghalian, hapunan o midnight snack pa 'yan.

I came home at around 11 PM last night at tapos na akong kumain no'n kaya hindi na sila nakapaghanda. No wonder they're so busy right now. They wanna make the best breakfast.

"Oh anak, kumusta ang training niyo ni Allistor?" I averted my gaze to the direction where the voice came from.

It's my white-haired dad going down from the staircase.

"It's great," I answered and forced a smile. Ang totoo niyan, hindi naman talaga.

'K lang' is the right term to express it.

"Oh andiyan na pala si Allistor!" my dad exclaimed. Napalingon naman ako sa aking likuran at nakita si Allistor na kapapasok lang.

"Good morning sir," bati niya kay dad. Dad beamed after seeing him.

"Mukhang napagod nga kayong dalawa. I told you not to overdo things," he said. "Halina kayo't mag-aalmusal na tayo."

"No thanks. Uuwi na muna ako. I forgot something in the house," tugon ni Allistor at napakamot sa batok.

As usual, he's playing the hard-to-get. He wants attention, in other words.

"Hay nako Al, stop turning me down, will you? Your dad's here too. Sabay sabay na tayong kakain okay?"

Dad then walked away and headed to the dining room. Dumiretso muna ako sa itaas para magbibis. Habang si Allistor naman ay sumunod na rin kay dad.

"So, you think I prepared all of this for breakfast alone, huh?" ani dad nang makaupo na kaming lahat sa mesa. The long table is filled with different foods. May lechon sa pinakagitna. May iba't ibang klase ng putahe na nakakalat. They're too many to mention.
