« What happened to your dad ? »
Liam had lost track of time, stuck in his mind. He had put his head on top of Dean's dark hair, comforted by the soft texture of it. The younger man had slided a bit downward, augmenting their size difference to lean closer to his chest. The leg that was closer to Liam was now folded on the other and it's knee leaning on the older's thighs, adding to the number of their already touching limbs.
This was much more intimate than they probably should be in the open but Liam needed that. It felt right. His mind was relaxing.
« My mom only told me about it when I was 10 or something. » answered Liam, without moving an inch from their position « I remember, she told me that she was afraid of the possible trauma for me. So she didn't want to tell me much before that. She only repeated, endlessly, that Dad had not left me by choice and still loved me from up there. »
« Your mom is so cute. » chuckled gently, the dark haired man.
« Hum. » agreed, the older man « I learned that he went to another country for a report. He had found a job as a journalist and he was the most convenient person to send as he spoke a few languages. He died in a huge car accident. Mom didn't know more than that at the time. But she recently told me she found more information later on. »
« So he spoke many different languages... »
« He was originally from the US but had come to study in Korea and ended up staying. If I'm not mistaken, he had picked up a bit of Chinese or something. I don't really remember ... »
Liam felt Dean's head nod feebly under him and raised his own, looking down tenderly. The way the younger man was relaxed and rested against him was so endearing. Maybe because he felt his gaze, the dark haired man lifted his head. Their eyes met and they exchanged a smile, the shared moment engulfing their heart in warmth.
« That explains your beautiful eyes and hair. »
« You find them beautiful ? » asked Liam, amused by the description.
« You are breathtakingly handsome. But they are beautiful, especially your dark green eyes. I got lost in them from the first time I saw you. »
Dean's straight forwardness was refreshing. It was charmingly direct and soothing to Liam. He was now used to his eyes' color but it had been a sour feature of him when he was a teenager. He didn't feel like he was belonging to anything. He was neither European nor Asian, pushing him on the sideline of social mingling.
Liam smiled, his head drawing near the younger's. He could see expectation flash through the dark orbs that he was looking at. The side of his lips raised up, cockily taunting Dean by grazing his thin lips without fully touching them. When he heard a mumbled rant escape the younger, Liam chuckled and satisfied them both by connecting their lips. His heart was full, content and at peace.
« Damn player. » voiced out Dean when the older released his thoroughly kissed mouth.
The latter, questioningly, raised one of his brow. He didn't know who was the black haired man referring to.
« Playing with my heart like an experimented bad boy. »
Dean was looking at him after straightening up under his arm. They were now at the same height, looking at each other eyes to eyes. That's how the older man could see the evident playful annoyance in his younger lover. The dark eyed man was whining, complaining that he had no control over the older man.
Chuckling, Liam couldn't stop himself and smiled widely. It was so handsomely cute. He didn't mind whoever was in control in their relationship. As long as they were together. Cupping the sharp jawline of the black haired man, he inclined his head down and featherly kissed the top of his head, conveying wordlessly his love.
