Liam racked his finger through his chocolate brown hair in frustration. He was at a loss of what to do concerning his elusive boyfriend. Dean had been avoiding talking to him for some times now. And he wasn't closer to know why, this morning than he was at the time of the picnic.

Rubbing the heel of his hand on his closed eyes, the brown chocolate haired man held in his breath. He needed to refrain from giving in to his frustration. His temper would explode at some point and that was the last thing that he wanted at the moment. Time was ticking, they only had until the end of the week before they would have to part.

The dark green eyed man fixed straight ahead, unfocused and deep in thought. He could brush aside the fact that Dean would choose to spend the night with his friends, rather than be with him. But it bothered the older man that the younger was seemingly stalking away, a faint smile plastered on his face. As if he was forcing himself.

The playful light in his eyes had disappeared since the night he had woken up, startled and fleeing Liam's embrace.

Contemplating on the timing of the younger Thai man's changes, Liam let his mind wonder on what could have motivated them. Considering the fact that he, himself, had, now, a pretty good idea on what had happened in the past, would it be so far-fetched to think that Dean did too ?

But then again, why would he take some distance with Liam ? If anything, it would make more sense if he was the angry one and wanted to avoid the younger man.

It really was a mystery and it needed to be addressed as soon as possible.

Liam wanted to talk with his lover about the future, their future. He had something up his sleeves that he wanted to discuss with the younger man. But exasperatingly so, each time they had been in the same place able to have a one on one talk, it all ended shortly. Dean was making sure that their lips were too busy to exchange articulated words. If not avoiding to meet.

Sighing his heart out, Liam threw a look around at the empty space surrounding him. The room was barely lit, the thick curtains blocking the early morning's light from entering. The place that he and his family had rented was silent, just like his bedroom. Liam, probably, being the only one awake at 8am. The bed sheets were entangled with his legs, making it plainly visible in which state was the other side of the bed.

Empty. Just live the older man's heart.

If Dean had been here, they would be cuddling under a straightened linen and Liam wouldn't feel so lost.

He missed him. Missed his touch. Missing the warmth of the body lying by his side. It was funny, because they had been apart only for a few hours. But Liam was becoming dependent on the younger's presence. For more than two full weeks, they had been glued to the hips. And now that they weren't, furthermore with an unknown misunderstanding, the absence was intolerable.

Liam wished he at least had Su-ya with him. The growing kitten would have kept him company. Playing with his tails at his feet.

Sighing, Liam smiled wryly at his thoughts. He had not worried about Su-ya when Dean was here. He was a bit disappointed in himself. Shaking his head, he stood up and went to the bathroom, taking care of his morning routine.

« What are you making, son ? »

Barely looking up to his mother who had called him upon entering the kitchen, Liam offered a faint smile and stayed focused on his task. He had decided that, while being early, he might as well cook some breakfast and maybe something to catch his boyfriend's interest.
