« Dean ! »
Liam barely registered the fact that someone was calling his lover's name when he was dragged by the wrist into the crowd.
Around them, people from all nationality, with a majority of Korean thought, were drinking and moving along the loud sounds resounding in the bar.
The night was young and they had just escaped from an awkward extended family reunion, so when Dean had suggested meeting Win in a bar, Yong Gi had jumped on the offer. Liam had no other choice to come along.
Not that he had any worries about his boyfriend and his friends but, well, he didn't like to be apart from him. They didn't have much time ahead and he wasn't going to waste it just because he wasn't fond of bars and clubs.
It's not that he didn't like to go out or listen to good music and concerts either. It's just that crowds and him were not exactly friends. He liked to be able to enjoy the music or to listen and talk with the people around him. Having to shout wasn't in his dictionary of enjoyable conversation.
However, one good thing about this place, that he must admit to, was that people were young and open minded. With all the objects adorning the walls, the travel inspired theme was clear. The decoration as well as the music and the beers were prooves that they had entered in a free-spirited bar.
« Alors c'était comment ? (So, how was it ?) »
Liam snapped out of his observation, when he heard the question addressed to no one in particular in French. The new addition to their table wasn't speaking Korean, hence the use of a different language right now.
Win, who was seated next to the new face, was looking at Dean, Yong Gi and him. Liam had learned that the reason why the blond man had disappeared so often lately was because someone had come to visit Korea. And him too, incidentally. If he could believe what the newly met man, Team, was telling him earlier.
But Liam was seriously doubting the honesty of that last statement. If he could judge from their interaction, Win was clearly flirting or courting the younger black haired Thai man. And the round faced man was receptive to it even if he tried to hide it behind his grumpiness and threats toward Win.
It was quite funny to see their exchange and the amount of swear words the younger man could throw at the blond man. Win was unfazed by this and simply smiled crookedly, his eyes brimming with mischief and affection.
Back to the topic, Liam focused on his own boyfriend and listened to the recap he was giving about his คุณปู่ (Khun pu, Grandfather)'s visit. Win had been there when they had welcomed him at the airport but not afterward when he had met the whole family on Liam and Yong Gi's side.
To say the least it had been eventful. Liam couldn't even begin to think rationally about all the ramifications linking him to Dean. On the contrary, his black haired and handsome boyfriend was back on his feet and seemed even amused by all the coincidences, just like it was fate.
Liam didn't feel the need to talk right now. Listening to Dean was better, because it put everything that he had learned today into perspective. It felt like he could detach himself from it and look at it from a third person point of view. Hearing Yong Gi's side too, was interesting. Although he was not directly involved in all this weird story, he had been there to listen and could also give his review.
« And apparently, I have met him. Well I don't remember it, I was like 5 at that time, but you know, it's fun to think about it. » Dean voiced out, excitement visible in his eyes as he told his best friend one of the less important details they had got to know during the afternoon.
