Cars were overtaking buses and trucks. The black asphalt road was wide with four lines available to allow tourists and locals to reach their destination. Behind the fence limiting access to the highway, brown fields, hibernating trees and villages were running by the passengers' windows. In a further distance mountains were faintly visible under the dark blue and pinkish sky. It was six in the morning and the sunrise was beautiful in this breathtaking scenery.

Unlike others, Dean was not able to sleep as he was boarding the bus taking them to their ski trip with the rest of the Mountain club members. Tom had successfully made possible their giant group to attend the ski trip even though it was quite popular among students. The Club had rented two big buses, to exceptionally welcome more people during the first trip of the year.

Earlier, at the bottom of the bus' stairs, Dean and his friends had greeted Lucas and the club administrators. Dean knew they were friends and it wasn't surprising for him to attend the trip but he still hadn't expected to find Liam by Lucas' side. He had offered a wry smile to the older man, internally being more positive after seeing him.

But Liam's reaction had thrown him off. Far from smiling back, the older man had barely acknowledged his presence and slightly bowed his head to the rest of the group. His action didn't go unnoticed by both of their friends who were stunned, an interrogative stare going from one man to the other. Win was the only one not as perplexed by the attitude. But just like Dean, they were wondering what exactly was the problem and why the brown haired man had chosen to ignore the black haired one.

Sighing, Dean kept his sight on the running landscape. He could not put his finger on what was wrong with Liam since their discussion after Bastien intervention.

It didn't make sense.

He hadn't said anything wrong. He was sure that Liam was the reincarnation of Hyeon Jae as he was the one for Ji Su. He had yet to discover what happened to them but he was sure they would get to the end of the story, together. It had been clear as day for a few weeks now and he was sure that Liam should see that too. They could recognise or sense each other ! The pull he felt when they were together, the familiarity they had and the ease he felt in the presence of the older man was something that Dean couldn't imagine escaping Liam's attention.

Dean was ready to understand that Liam had yet to fall in love with him, but it was undeniable that he cared for the younger one. All the little attention he had given to the younger, the fact that he had accepted him in his restricted number of friends and the care he showed him on so many occasions was an indicator. Liam had to feel their link.

But then, why did he close himself when the truth was at last in the open ? Why did he flee from Dean and was refusing to speak or respond to any of Dean's messages since then ? Was it because Dean was a guy and he had no interest in the same gender ? Was it because he was disappointed to find out that Ji Su had not reincarnated as a woman ? It could very much have been a possibility with the way she felt and addressed herself. Maybe that was the case and he just had to prove to Liam that gender was not an issue. Having made up his mind, Dean relaxed enough to rest a bit until they arrived at their destination.

« Look up, bend your knee and stop drawing your knee closer to one another. » advised Yong Gi in a calm voice.

« That makes me out of balance though. » let out Dean while his arms were flying around trying to grasps on anything.

« Only because you are as stiff as a stick. » mocked his friend « You should relax ... » he walked behind the black haired man who was standing on his snowboard with only one foot attached « Here look, I can secure you. You won't fall, trust me. Now relax your shoulders and look where you want to go. I will push you so you can concentrate on sliding straight. »
