Hyeon Su had brought a letter from their mom when he had come to visit his big brother almost two weeks ago. Hyeon Jae was more interested in seeing his baby brother and spending time with him so he hadn't opened it until the night before his departure.

Reading what his mother had written, he was a bit surprised but didn't think much about it as he considered he had a lot of time. After all he was still in his first year at Uni', where was the rush ? Hence he didn't write about this subject in his letter back to their mother that he trusted Hyeon Su with.

However, when he received a phone call on the Hong family land line, he was definitely not in his comfort zone. First of all, this kind of occasion didn't come often as phone calls were uncommon. Lastly, his mother just announced to him, without any real opening for discussion that she and his father will soon come to see him and meet his future wife formally. He was so shaken that he didn't even think to ask her who the girl was before his mother had hung up saying that phone calls cost too much.

Taken aback, he had not been able to talk about it with anyone and was still thinking how to react and what to do with his new found feelings. After his discussion with Hyeon Su, he had discovered the importance of Ji Su for him. The next few days had found him confused and a bit startled each time Ji Su looked at him. He even zoned out during the days, lost in his thought about one or another memory he had with his cute little friend.

One time he even found himself devouring the latter with his eyes, bathing in his warm smile and the chocolate brown eyes that were highlighting his days. His soft oval face, framing his slender eyes and delicate nose. His thick lips that were of an entrancing pink colour were specially attracting his eyes to the point where he unconsciously leaned closer, the tip of his tongue showing between his own slightly opened lips.

It's only when he heard his name coming out of those beautiful moving 'objects' that he had come back to his senses and looked back up to Ji Su's eyes. He then had noticed the blush that crept up on his friend's cheeks and was once again convinced of how cute he was. Smiling with more love than he could even guess he was showing, he had wanted to cup the sweet face in his hand but restrained himself and patted his head instead.

It was becoming hard to not touch the younger one, Hyeon Jae hands repeatedly trying to ruffle Ji Su's head, catch his hand, touch his sharp jawline or even lean forward on his back, hugging him at any occasion they were alone. At some point Hyeon Jae wondered why the beautiful and cute boy didn't push him away or even complain about his constant clingy attention. But the thought just disappeared quickly replaced by naive contempt.

He truly was lucky that no one told him off and prevented him of doing whatever he wanted, even being welcomed by Ji Su's blindingly beautiful smile. Of course, even in that situation, he was aware that he had to be careful of their surroundings. He knew his attraction for the boy was in no case usual or could be validate in thoses days' society. He was as discreet as he could, only doing such demonstration of affection when he thought they were alone.

But now that his mother had specifically announced to him that he was to marry someone, someone who obviously wouldn't be the one he liked, his mind and heart were in panic. He had to talk to Ji Su, he had to know what he thought instead of just enjoying his luck. He had to tell him about his parents decision and let him know what his heart wanted. Ji Su shouldn't learn about all those things from someone else. Even though he wasn't sure of the other one's feelings, Hyeon Jae knew he had a special meaning for Ji Su and he wanted to protect him from any harm possible.

That night, thinking over and over, he couldn't sleep and decided to go get some water. He ended up comforting Ji Su in his nightmare and slept next to him, protecting him from his fear. Woken up by the sunshine ray going through a hole in the curtain, Hyeon Jae shielded his head toward a sleeping Ji Su. He was overwhelmed by how innocent the younger guy was looking, how peaceful his face was and couldn't stop himself from raining small pecks on it.
