They were leaving Halabeoji's house when Liam received a distress call from someone he had not expected to contact him. It was even a wonder how she had got a hold of his number.

Hearing that she had left home and was now alone in the street had broken his heart. So when she requested to see him and for his help, he could only ask for Dean's cooperation before they rushed to their meeting place.

They were now waiting at the exit number 3 of the subway station, looking around to see if the girl had already arrived.

« 보민아 ! (Bo Min-ah !) » called out Liam as soon as he sighted his oldest younger sibling climbing the stairs out of the station.

Bo Min offered a small wry smile and finished the climb before bowing respectively at the two older men. It might have been Spring already but it was still a bit cold, especially at night. Contrary to what would have been expected of the responsible 10 years old girl she was, Bo Min was only wearing her white sweater with a bold drawing on it, her blue jean overalls half covering it and her slippers. It looked like she had run out of her home directly, without properly dressing.

Liam's heart clenched at the sight. He walked closer before going down on one knee, adjusting his green eyes to the girl's level. He wanted to offer his half-sister a hug but didn't know if it would be accepted or not.

Liam was still considering his next action when he felt the weight of a smaller body clinging to him. Bo Min had not bothered about anything and simply went for what she wanted and needed. Someone whom she could hold on, trust and receive sympathy from.

Faintly smiling and happy that the little girl was feeling close enough to him to get into his arms, Liam closed the embrace and calmly patted the back of the black haired girl.

« 무슨 일이야? 오빠한테서 말해도 돼 ? (Moosen iliya ? Oppahanteseo malhaedo dwae ? - What is it ? Can you tell Oppa about it ?) » Liam asked in a calm voice after Bo Min separated herself from his bigger body.

Without uttering a word, she only shook her head, avoiding his curious eyes.

« 그럼... 우리 집에 갈래? ( Keleom... Ooli jibe kallae ?- Then, shall we go to Oppas' place ?) »

Keeping her black eyes down cast, she nodded and without any hesitation put her small hand in his. Her chin high short hair was covering her face and she seemed on the edge of crying. Liam didn't know what to say, he was lost in this situation. After all, he hadn't been a big brother for long and had no experiences in taking care of a kid.

Looking up for reassurance from his boyfriend, Dean gave him a warm smile and signed for them to just go. Understanding the wordless ascent, Liam stood up, clutching on the warm little hand and led the way to their rented house.

« Hyeon Jae-ssi ! » a loud whisper stirred him from his sleep.

He had fallen asleep next to the small figure lying on the bed. Yesterday night, he had been able to enter the room discreetly while Mrs Hong was busy on the phone. He had taken the opportunity when he had heard the maid call for the woman, saying that the interlocutor said it was urgent. Tuning out the voice, he had silently crossed the hallway and run to the little fragil being bedroom.

Looking up as he was rubbing sleep out of his eyes, he met with an anxious face hovering over Ji Su's listless body across the bed. Recognition helped him clear his mind while he stood up to face the young lady, wondering what it was that made her act so rashly.

« What time is it ? » he asked, looking around.

The room was still dark so it must not have been morning yet. He frowned, perplexed.
