I wasn't dead.

I knew my decision was critical, perhaps a matter of life and death for all of us.

With Austin closing in on Leon's pack, my weakness was a formidable obstacle. My mind raced, searching for a way out of this dire situation.

Desperation fueled my thoughts as I focused on breaking free, rescuing everyone, and defeating Austin.

As I concentrated intensely, a peculiar sensation coursed through me. It began as a subtle vibration, then grew into a hum. It felt as if the very air around me responded to my determination.

My newfound energy surged, and the atmosphere crackled with power. The wind started to swirl, drawn toward me as if compelled by an invisible force.

My body felt different, charged with a vitality I'd never experienced before. Every fiber of my being seemed to realign, erasing the pain I'd been enduring.

Then, in a startling display of my newfound abilities, the electrical chair shattered into pieces. I stared in disbelief at the wreckage, my eyes widening with shock.

Did I just do that?

A sense of transformation swept over me. I felt reborn, my essence fundamentally changed. There was a palpable aura of strength emanating from me.

Austin's men, bewildered by the spectacle, hurried to subdue me. But my hands acted independently, flames erupting from my palms, engulfing each of them.

Their astonishment was evident as one of them stammered, "How is this possible? Our suits are designed to withstand anything!"

With newfound confidence, I located a black combat suit in the corner of the room. Astonishingly, the scars and wounds Austin had inflicted on me had disappeared, leaving my skin flawless.

I quickly changed into the black suit and confidently approached Leon.

Untying his hands, he stared at me in disbelief, his eyes wide with wonder.

"Are you alright? I'm sorry I couldn't save you earlier. I didn't know where you were," he asked, his voice filled with genuine concern.

"Save it. I'm fine, but time is running out. Austin has likely reached your pack by now," I replied, urgency in my tone.

Outside, a chaotic battle raged between Lily and Austin's men, with Leon's warriors dwindling in numbers.

We rushed to the door before some of Austin's less injured men could regain their senses.

Leon attempted to force the door open, but it remained stubbornly shut, pushed by an unseen, powerful force.

I spotted a hammer, likely left behind by Austin's men, and seized it. With a determined swing, I struck the door.

The metal door resounded with a heavy thud, showing visible damage. After a few more hits, the doorknob finally loosened, and I turned it until it clicked open.

Inside, only about ten of Leon's warriors remained, while a formidable contingent of Austin's warriors still stood.

Lily grappled with three adversaries, struggling to hold her ground. I moved toward her.

I lured the three warriors closer, drawing them in, and then unleashed a massive fire, engulfing almost half of them.

Lily's eyes widened in disbelief, mirroring the astonishment Leon had shown when I first harnessed my newfound abilities.

Once more, I felt the wind surge around me, my hair flowing in the same direction, as the very elements seemed to respond to my presence.

Three warriors, armed with silver knives, advanced on me, unaware of the incredible transformation I had undergone.

I charged towards them, and one of them managed to slice a small cut to my leg. It left a red line as I leaped and went for one of their necks.

I bit hard into it, causing a huge teeth mark of mine until I couldn't feel his pulse.

The other two saw what I was doing and immediately changed into their wolf form.

One of them went for my leg as I counter-attacked, bringing him to the ground.

I went for his stomach, leaving him gasping for air and soon unconscious.

I charged toward the last one and I scratched his face, leaving many cuts from my paws.

He held the silver knife in his hand, attempting to slice me when I was not looking but I saw it and kicked the knife out of his hand.

With a final kick, I sent the last of Austin's men sprawling to the ground, incapacitated.

Lily and Leon were in the midst of subduing the remaining adversary as I approached them.

"Let's go," I urged, determination etched into my voice.

Together, we made our way through the dense forest, retracing our steps to Leon's pack territory, where we knew Austin was advancing.

My resolve was unwavering; I would show him no mercy. None.

Austin, brace yourself. I'm coming for you, and you will suffer a slow and agonizing demise.
